It's asking for you to enter the name you want people to see for you whispering and team things.

It's asking for you to write a Player ID for yourself.
Unlike other online games where characters can't use a name that is already being used by someone else, PSO2 uses instead an ID name and ID number to identify a specific player, so multiple people can have characters with the same name.

I thought I need some sort of code from SEGA or whatever it is. Some english patches make glitches when it's tried to update the game.

I know a person, that used an item code to write there (one of those that were given at beginning of game with random useless things) cause couldn't read too, so he is still doomed to exist with this silly 16 random symbols ID. xD
