Instead of bragging, why don't you share your knowledge on how to avoid this Son-of-a-bug with some of the newer members of PSO (...cough..cough..ME..ahem...!!) ???

Cheers! (uk expression!)

given the number of ppl asking about it, should "how to cope with the BSOD" be part of the FAQ?

or is there an FAQ / guide out there already that explains *exactly* what to do?

i havent encountered it yet - and i want to be ready http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

I actually got the black screen one of the first times I got online and had never heard of it before. I was pretty scared when it happenned, but I knew to NOT turn the DC off because it hadn't saved anything to the VMU yet.

After a little bit of waiting, it quit/saved the game on its own.

I've experienced heavy lag and have been disconnected quite a few times since, but no black screen.
