Hi everyone! First time posting on this forum. So I was just wondering if I should start playing PSO2 again. I started playing in about February and stopped at about April because it got boring too me (I only got to about level 38 Force on my Newman). So since it's now August I guessed that Sega has added some new stuff into the game. So I wanted to know if there is anything that was added to get me back into the game again. Thanks in advance.

Read that blog, search for the month that you last played and continue reading up to the present.

Thanks in advance. If you just plan on getting back on that character, the only relevant new content would be 2 new areas, 5 more levels(I think max was 55 when you stopped), and 5 new rare techs. Oh, and partner machines I guess. Plus another free character slot if you want an alt. Also a bunch of new talents in the ice tree for forces.

That's all I can think of, though there has been quite a lot of new content that you may just not be interested in.

I would personally say no. But then again I haven't played in a long time either. But I have a feeling nothing really substantial has been added or changed. So all the new content you will see will be mostly cosmetical is what I think(cosmetical not in the sense of costumes, but also newer enemies and bosses that don't really have a big impact and don't feel distinct enough)

You stopped in April, so you might have missed the Sanctum area, and there's also the recently released Coast area. Their hard mode versions have enemies in the 38~40 range, so they are fitting for your level, but, if you got bored at lvl 38, things don't get better until lvl 45 (the lvl 40~45 range is currently the most boring part of the game, I think).

At lvl 45 is when you unlock advance quests, which are some of the more fun to play quests in the game, in my opinion (other than the darker's den, but that's rare to happen).

Thank you all for the replies. I started patching the game already but I think I've spotted a problem where when I'm patching if I cancel the patch the amount that was already downloaded does not subtract from the checking side of the patch.

While there's need for updates, the updater always does a full check indepently of how much you downloaded, but the download itself should continue from where you stopped, if I'm not mistaken.

So the launcher is continuing from where I left off even though it's not showing it?

You might want to just leave your computer alone for like...a good long while, overnight or w/e.
Just sayin'

Wish I could do that but every time I try to patch it has error 103. Been doing that when I was playing 4 months ago too. Even when I have a different laptop right now.

Now the patcher is constantly saying 0 on the checking.
