Hello my dear Arks and fellow Duman,

it is time for our last racial contest, featuring Dumans (other spellings of this name will be tolerated)! We have received many great entrees and it was really excited looking through all of them. Of course not everybody was able to reach the top 10 and I hope that even if you didn't manage to, that you won't be upset and will still enjoy this event, because you all had very great characters and it was really hard to decide! All entrees will later on be mentioned and shown in an other thread.

Rules:

You have to vote on 3 people, just name them in a simple post


You can post your vote until the 18th of august 12:00pm GMT+1


You cannot edit your post or your vote will be disqualified


Don't worry about typos, as long as the names are understandable we will understand them

About Suri's entry, what happened to this?

Please do not use weapons, because they aren't really part of the clothing. Units are allowed tho since they can be integrated into clothes and styles easily.

Thank you for pointing that out Ezo, Suri was one of the first people to send me their entrees and we didn't have the "no weapons" rule 100% set at that time. After saving his pictures and establishing that rule we sadly made an error and have forgotten about it. This was also sadly overseen during the judging process and we are really sorry about this.

I am very sorry and have already contacted Suri about sending me a new picture. The other picture has been removed for now.

Seems to be the feather corsage from the Holy Bright Priest scratch, I think.

Sacrificial - In my opinion the most unique look here and for that alone I give my vote. I also like that postcard look the pictures have, even if it wasn't intentional. Would love to see some bigger, high quality shots really.

Without the intent to derail the topic: you have to keep in mind that hosting events like these does not generate them even half a penny. They do this purely out of passion for the game, and mean it to be a gift to the community. Hiccups like these are unfortunate and of course avoidable, but cut them some slack: redroses replied to Ezodagrom's criqitue almost instantly and as a response took action to correct their mistake. And mistakes happen from time to time, that's just the nature of the beast. The way they dealt with it smoothly and quickly deserves a thumbs-up in my opinion.

First that and second thing is that each judge does it on their own. It shouldn't happen, but it did and all we can say is sorry.
