GameGard Crash - refusing to load pos 2

After the install of the new updates gamegard has gone nuts.


The program goes through its 9 file update and refuses to start the game. It immediately closes the software and gives me the standard

and will not load the game.

Anyone else getting this issue?

It didnt start until after the update.

You can try using the Tweaker and:
Go to the Orb -> Troubleshooting -> Fix GameGuard Issues
I'm not sure exactly what it says, but I think that's what it said... Same problem happened to me, but that fixed it :3

Thanks for the help but I got it.

Just had to delete the gameguard folder and start up the pso 2 launcher again. Reinstalled GG and worked.

I got it working again after going into the gameguard directory (pso2_bin\GameGuard) looking for all new modified files by sorting by date and removing them (actually I moved them to a sub folder). In the end it was about like removing all *.erl files and the GameGuard.ver, all in all 10 files. After that you can start the game as usual and gameguard will download new versions of those file and everything worked after that.
