Im currently using a blaster +2. Im not very familiar with how to get what, but I wanna get a more effective weapon like a blaster. Im currently lvl 6 about to be 7. suggestions?

Thanks!

P.S. If there is a process to make the weapon really strong, please try to explain clearly or link me to directions since I easily get lost.

I'm sure there are others more experienced at how to effectively play a ranger, as I only use it as a subclass, but you'll definitely want a good launcher for AOE, and a good rifle for bosses/high health enemies.

Of course, situations vary, but that's the very basic idea.

There are other more advanced suggestions, but that will come in time :)

Just use whatever you can equip at your current level.

Nothing wrong with equipping a +10 Red Rifle when you can. They're cheap and decent until you can start farming TACOs/10* items and getting the real big ones. Ditto with Red Launcher. The 9* lambda weapons are also worth looking into when you can use them.

Ranger eh?
Three main weapons:
1. Assault rifle, for single target and Weak Bullet skill
2. Launcher, for group enemy damage.
3.Gunslash, for the slash part (useful for certain part). After you can get Additional Bullet PA, Gunslash can become one of the most useful weapon.

And equip the best version you can find AND use. Refer to Cirnopedia for further info:

Hope this helps since I also maining Ranger myself :)

I made a post (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3007811#post3007811) about this awhile ago for a similar question. mostly still relevant. Make sure you're dumping ratk into your mag so you can use high req gear sooner.

Read it just now, I hate to say this, but all I see is numbers and random abbreviations. :/

My main issue im trying to learn is back in psu years ago, me and my friends knew how grinding worked perfectly. Issue now is I forgot it and the only thing I know how to do is grind a weapon plainly with the occasional breaking prevention.

Back in psu, there was a way you made the grind strengthen the weapon into so much better.

Things need to be put in simple terms for me to understand.

Gunslash is a great weapon type for crowd control. As soon as you can afford it, buy Additional Bullet from the player shops. Until then, Thrillsplosion is still better than anything rifle has to offer. Aiming shot can also be useful early on for one-shot kills with headshots.

This is not PSU, and the grind system is nowhere near the same.

You don't have to have the highest quality gear in order to enjoy the game, keep that in mind: you can easily get mid-range gear and be effective. This link, here (http://cirnopedia.frostsabre.com/weapon_08.php#nav) lists the assault rifles, which are effective weapons in many situations. I currently use Lambda Strauss' and still manage to perform well enough in most situations. No, I don't kill as fast as those with extremely high-end gear, but, honestly? You don't need to in this game. It's not hard. There is a grinding system, and while it's better than PSU's, it's still not...'good'

Also, for that link, you can use the tabs and such to get around and look for other weapons, Photon Arts, etc.
