When your new "thingymajig" comes out, will it pick up Interrupt Rankings?

Because then I will never have to log on again! Only play those (+ falz + vardha since they're the only decent EQs) .-.

When your new "thingymajig" comes out, will it pick up Interrupt Rankings?

The pso2_emg_bot tweats emergency rankings occasionally, right now it simply ignores them. It's doable, but I'm not sure if there's any demand for it which is why I left it out.

It didn't pick up on the fang banther EQ that appeared (~2 hours) after falz's one, i assume that has to do with the bot not picking it up, however?

Hardly on my pc. Would be cool if you do something for non pc platforms.

MimiChan
Sep 27, 2013, 06:41 PM
I wonder if you can tweak it more so that it can load up scheduled EQ before hand?
So it can shows up coming scheduled EQ and you can customize if you want it to alert you like 1 hour before it happened for example (to get a good block)

Another cool feature is the icon changes color depending on the active boost that day.
Red - Rare drop rate
Green - Exp
Yellow - Meseta

Emp
Sep 27, 2013, 06:51 PM
Correct. Right now, it's only using the pso2_emg_bot, but within the next few days, we'll have another way of detecting and getting them to compliment that :)

I can't promise anything, but I will say that I'm beginning to program some stuff for Android platforms.

Thats just what I love to have. You could either develop an app that could be hosted or do something like a text or email based system, but idk if ppl would like to disclose that information.

Whoa, are you serious? Right now, it's kind of pointless for me to play unless I'm doing a TA or feeding my mag. It might take a while for me to unburn myself out, but having this handy will be a great way to maximize my play time. Thank you so much!

Doesn't want to work for me. :(
I've tried downloading it three times now. What's really odd (besides the fact that it's not working for me) is that it immediately pops this up, doesn't even "think or process" about it.

Also, apologies if the attached image stretches out anyone's window. I've been lurking here for years, but never really figured out the message settings.

I have version 4 aswell. Pretty much same comment as skyly. Got 4 when I was getting the Tweaker & I've been playing the game (via Tweaker) quite frequently.

The "PSO2 Extension" tab thingy has a Dark Falz notice, which works for this somewhat & its not gonna be the end of the world if I cant get this lil program to work either (just would be nice to have).

Running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, if that makes any difference.

Aw man you're always doing such super handy and amazing stuff. ;; Thank you so much AIDA.

I hope it's alright to get off a problem though. I downloaded the EQ Notification System and everytime I try to start it Windows just pops up "PSO2 Alert isn't working anymore" and closes it after that. I've tried to start it as Administrator too and I have that slight feeling Windows is kidding me. :I My system is Windows Vista by the way.

Once an EQ is detected (using both the pso2_emg_bot AND a new function that will roll out within the next few days), it will pop up a screen like this:

http://puu.sh/4BDpK.png

Is there a reason that my EQ Alert just says (9 - 9) instead of the time?
http://s8.postimg.org/e0c4b4fv9/PSO2_Alert.jpg

I mean, I haven't quite had it running while an EQ started up, but I just brought up that graphic with the rightclick > show last EQ.
So that may be it. But I just want to be sure.

How odd - Let me know if it's a recurring issue.

I just had the program go off before this Super Falz.
The custom .wav I selected (Changeover Code: Attack) worked, and the image popped up. But it still has the (9 - 9) on it.

On launching (regardless of starting with windows or just manually opened) it should immediately check to see if something's happening in-game. Didn't seem like that was the case when I was launching and relaunching the app during darker city event on Ship10, though maybe I juuust missed the deadline (it's 2 minutes past the 30m marker so the event should be over by now).

Great app though. Out of curiosity, what are you using for the more accurate emergency code updates?

So Aida, I gave your program a shot for a day or two. I noticed .NET framework was giving me an error when I tried to update as prompted. since I updated to your second build, it's been giving me errors occasionally as I leave it open. I had to manually download your newest version.

To fill in, the pso2_eq_bot is a service run by a Japanese player, that announces alerts for emergency quests based on tweets by Japanese players that it picks up via tags. Up until now, this has been the sole mechanic for which the chrome EQ extension has functioned on. The problem is the because it's run mostly by Japanese players, while it picks up a good number of tweets, it doesn't seem to pick up events for the primary times foreign players are online, and generally misses a couple of events here and there in general.

The current EQ system still uses that as a base, but I've been thinking about ways that I could possibly supplement or even possibly replace the system in favor of something more reliable, or at the very least provide a backup. For Japanese players it's somewhat easier as Japan is in one timezone, I didn't want to have players converting times to JST, trying to parse the time from their twitter location, or deal with any of that in general. The fix to that was stupidly simple and admittedly, I'm kind of embarrassed as to exactly how simple. As each event is announced fifteen minutes before it's put into effect, all I need to do is keep a list of times for acceptable event announcement times for the corresponding events. The result is shown below:

[spoiler-box]
http://arks-layer.com/imgs/db.png
[/spoiler-box]

All I need is a tag #pso2eq to pick up the tweet, the ship number, the and the abbreviated eq name to parse and the EQ system sets the time for the EQ accordingly. I'm not sure how reliable this system would be if it were simply public with a threshold of a certain amount of users being able to tweet, and since the EQ system is was originally built to listen for posts from the pso2_eq_bot, I haven't written in any measures to cancel tweets once they've been announced and in general, I don't think people would use the alert system if it wasn't reliable. And me in general, I'd rather spend my time translating more of the game then spending all of my time writing anti-troll algorithms for twitter.

The route I decided to go with was to have a group of approved users where a single tweet can announce an EQ. I've given Aida free control of whose account gets verified to be able to set EQ's, since honestly I really don't even play this game. Here's a preview of the admin console and how it works. Basically a username is entered into the system, and a random key is generated for it. You are then validated into the system by tweeting the @eqRappyBot from that account with the random key in the content of the text. You should then get a confirmation email from the rappybot.

[spoiler-box]
http://arks-layer.com/imgs/twitter.png
[/spoiler-box]

I'm kind of tempted to add the feature of the rappy bot tweeting out each announcement, but I need to work on my thesis paper and other stuff for school right now. If I get the chance I'd like to maybe work on something using the bot a little more some where down the line.

A note on interrupt rankings, the pso2_eq_bot does announce the rankings. Since the bot breaks and the person managing it announces other stuff on occasion I made it so that my listening bot automatically throws away any tweets that aren't marked with #緊急クエ. As the interrupt rankings aren't marked with that, they're generally thrown away, so I'd have to change the code on that so it actually parses them. As for the new system, yes interrupt rankings can be announced like any other EQ if they are added to the database.

So here's a request for features Aida, since I've been working with the firefox plugin for a good few months, I figure it wouldn't hurt if Kion let you borrow some of his firefox/chrome features.

1. Let the taskbar icon flash, or change color when an EQ is coming, or in effect.
2. Allow the EQ box to pop up on hover or press over the taskbar icon. Or an option for both?

Anyone who is having the program crash right away, send me a message on Skype (ID is TheCrimsonDevil), and we'll figure out what's going on :)

I wonder if you found what may have caused this for people already, or if it is a case by case basis and I should contact you directly.

I think on every version released so far (3 of them, right?) it crashed when it attempted to auto-update to the newer version.
I didn't think it was too bad, since I could always manually go to this thread and download the new version myself.

But this latest version gives me a Microsoft .NET Framework error on startup.

The rest of the error details were just Loaded Assembiles, and how to invoke JIT debugging, so I assume those weren't important to post. [If they were, I'll get back to you with them then].

When I quit the error, it'll close the program.
If I attempt to have the program continue, it just closes by itself eventually.

I had put the "Change Over Code: Attack" on the 2nd version as a sound. So when I updated to the latest version, IDK if me not disabling the sound is a problem.
I just recently tried changing it to "PSE Burst" to see if it would fix it, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I use Windows 7 64bit, and I believe I'm using Framework .NET 4.5. But I know I at least installed up to 4.0.

---

Also, I second the "Change color if EQ is active" suggestion.
IIRC Kion's Chrome extension did this?

Okay, after I changed my clock back to the default, it seems to work for me now.

I told my friend about the program though, and it doesn't open for them. It just does an instant "Not responding" whenever the program is launched.

Are you planning on recruiting multiple reliable sources from each ship? Your new alert system sounds like it should help a lot for reporting "off hour" EQ's that pop up, but my immediate concern is that this will only help on Ship 02 where the majority of the english population is. If you're already planning on stationing reporters on each ship then I and the other inhabitants of Ship 09 and beyond will be most grateful.

Update time!

- Fixed the "cannot connect to remote host" errors.

Those of you getting instant crashes, see if you can get any more information about them from the pop-up box.

ALSO - I'm looking for Android/iOS/WP7 developers who are interested in working on the Android/iOS/WP7 version of PSO2 Alert. Contact me on Skype - ID is TheCrimsonDevil for more information.

Sent you a message on Skype, but I'm only rarely on there, so just in case: I have both Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 devices, and a developer account.

This program never really detected any emergency quests at all. Right now, theres an Illipia emergency quest warning going on and this program never made an alert. I also made sure the ship is correct. This has been going on ever since the first version of the program.

To be fair, none of the warning program so far ever actually detected them ingame. It was always dependant on player input from tweaker (more specificially, certain accounts), which was then detected by the programs.

Which ship? It'll only use the EQ twitter bot for ships other than 2, at the moment - However, we're looking for volunteers to report when EQs happen on ALL ships.

Well, it was 2.

same problem here.

maybe it's some time zone issue? when i check last eq it shows me 19-19.30
which is like 15 hours ago.

i have utc+1 time zone.

Oct 17, 2013, 09:03 AM
But seriously - The system Kion created that the program relied on crashed horribly. He's working on fixing it, but doesn't have an ETA as of yet. Because of this, I've created a secondary backup system that works off of my twitter - This will allow the program to retain it's functionality until the original system is back up.

It's kind of a problem with writing node.js applications. For client side applications, you can use it, restart, update, ect. and you're right there when it happens where as client side you pretty much need to write it once and have it continuously keep going which makes it pretty damn hard to write for. Memory leaks, uncaught exceptions, random errors, disconnects, ect. and it's not nice enough to make a noise, it just kind of writes in it's log file, dies and the only way to know that it stopped working is, "hey, i haven't seen any alerts for pso2 in a while....".

Right now I'm working on my thesis for school and hopefully I can finish up by the end of this month and hopefully re-write the server side for the eq system next month or so, but in the mean time i at least added some code so the server is now nice enough to email me when it crashes. On a related note, I am now extremely paranoid every time I see new email in my inbox now. So it's fixed for now at least, and that should include the #pso2eq tag as well for approved users.

Well, good luck Kion. This is a side-project for PSO2 after all. RL is even more important :)
Just take your time, slowly but steadily the app will be even more complete.
ps: The EQ Alert helps to warn me about Falz quite a few times already, and during my sleep time too :3

It still doesn't seem to be making any alerts for ship 2. I could help out in reporting ship 2 if I had any idea what to do.

deahamlet
Oct 18, 2013, 01:57 PM
Feature ideas:
Choose which screen to show the alert on. When I have a full-screen game on my main screen, it makes the noise but I have no idea what Emergency it is because I have to close down the game I'm playing to see it. I tried alt-tabing to the window with the alert but nothing shows up.
Associate different sounds with different EQs. When you get it to where we can choose to ignore EQs, maybe we can eventually get to choose sounds so you instantly know if yay Chrome or yay Falz, for example.

They're just ideas, nice things but not needed. Love the alert, thank you for making it! Can't wait for android version.

deahamlet
Oct 18, 2013, 01:58 PM
This - There's no 100% way to automatically determine when an EQ is coming. We have (three, at the moment) people who, if they're on and an EQ is announced, have the ability to hit the "Report this EQ" button and report it. The other method is the JP EQ Twitterbot. As we get more and more volunteers (where the hell are my volunteers?) to participate, the system should get more and more accurate.

I can "volunteer" for ship 5 when I'm on. I'd be all over a Report this EQ button!

My alert is still drawing the WebClient error I posted here before and it's preventing it from updating to the current version. There are times when the alert box pops up, but my concern is the fact that I don't get why it's refusing to update whenever I log on to my computer or whenever it constantly asks me to do so. It's still on version 1.0.0.5 when I should have been on 1.0.0.8...

You'll have to update to fix the error o_o

I had to download the actual file from here and, geez, it freaking updated. I don't get why it wouldn't do it when I kept pressing 'continue' when it asked me to update.... Something so simple...but thanks, though.

I just downloaded this, hopefully it'll help me catch up with everyone else on this forum. Now, how exactly does this work? A popup appears when there's an EQ, but does it show only once? Is there a way to check if it popped up recently, if I was away when it popped up?

I told my friend about the program though, and it doesn't open for them. It just does an instant "Not responding" whenever the program is launched.

We have a secondary system in place that uses real people to report it - However, the three volunteers I got aren't on much, and I'm busy with RL stuff.

If you'd like to announce EQs as they happen for everyone who uses the program, let me know. It's disturbingly simple.

I can offer my services in reporting (on Ship 2) but I work full time, so I can't promise it will be the most consistent thing ever.

I'm honestly not on that much either, which is why I'd love a reliable alert system myself.

I just sometimes notice as I'm grabbing my daily XQ pass like "oh hey, an unannounced Forest EQ I don't care about is almost over" or if I log on just to test a quick thing "wow, I missed 10 minutes of unannounced Trick or Treat"

If you'd like yet another sporadic/late reporter, I could do that I guess. But I wouldn't be the dedicated announcer that you need.

I am working on an update.
At the time i uploaded that i could only test on my phone. Now i can test on diffrent resolutions so coming soon.

Update is online!
* All WP8-Devices (and resolutions) are now supported
* App Shows now a Live-Timer, if EQ is active

Use the old link in the first post.

Good Drops and have fun

only other odd thing that happens is turning on overlay mode in pso2 chat translator but it doesn't lower my framerate, it just causes the game to stutter while keeping the same framerate
edit: actually, double checked, the framerate drop from the overlay is exactly the same in warframe when i enable the overlay from chat translator

Suggestion: Maybe a Stop music button. I personally don't use a jingle nor anything like that. Each time it pops a EQ, the Emergency BGM from the game starts playing. I shortened it for 1 minute, but still, a stop button would be OK, if possible. =)

Great work, great program. Ideal to keep a track on Dark Falz. =P

AIDA, just to clear things up:
I start the app, the app goes to the lower icons (along where the Skype, Volume and other icons are).
But, when the pop-up of an EQ shows up, he states that the app is minimized.
There, it "freezes" a little and stops responding a bit.
Also happens when I start the app: I start it, it goes to the lower icons but if I right-click it right after opening, just a few seconds, it's not really responding. It only starts responding after a quite bit. Even windows states that the app is not working (no pop up, only informs in the Task manager).

Sorry about the"lower icons" thing. I'm not remembering how it's called in english... Xp

Please add a way to close the popup notifications. Also, a way to view the last x EQs (more than just one) would be really useful - I like to know what I've missed while I was AFK.

Edit: And please stop it from showing up in the alt+tab menu, since there actually isn't a window to alt+tab to.

Agree, and the Stop music button too.
But, I believe that showing the last x EQs may be a little hard, and I really don't know how hard it can be to make in not show when you alt-tab, so, plz take only the close popup and stop music button from me. =P

- Added support for our new EQ system, which should pick up 100% of all EQs (Currently being tested on Ship02, will be expanded to other ships shortly)
Yeah that's great and all, but now you gotta add the option to ignore all EQs except TD!

Or make Mining Base Defense play this sound (http://vocaroo.com/i/s1Y8Il4thBRB) and this for anything else. (http://vocaroo.com/i/s1iJ6fmdXNqp)

You can just clip the sound :3 If you want to send it to me and tell me where to cut it at, that's fine too~

No Thanks, I can clip it on my own. Thank you GoldWave. =P=P
No, lol, my point in this is:

Imagine I'm in the kitchen, I have children, and the EQ pops up:

1) If the sound is too short, I won't listen to it, because I'm away;
2) If the sound is too long, I have to listen to it whole (hence, my request for the Stop Button).

I use a 1 minute song, so, that gives me time to ear and know that the EQ is on, if I'm away or the house is too noisy. But since I can't stop the music, I have to listen to it all. XD

I really would love to try this out, but I can't since you must have Windows 8.1 to be able to use it, and I REFUSE to upgrade from Windows 8 to 8.1
Reason: Why try to fix something that's already working 100%?
I don't tend to trust M$ big updates, had really bad experiences in the WinXP era with the SP's...

Walkure
Feb 3, 2014, 02:56 PM
Upgrading to 8.1 pretty much doubled my boot time with no real benefit. Adding in the button was kind of useless since I had shortcuts to the point where I could hit win and type for the app/shortcut I need faster than click button + search + click. Oh, and they reverted search to Windows 7 search (settings + files + apps/shortcuts on default) which fucks with my whole paradigm of searching since it prioritizes alphabetically.

Feels pretty fucking bad. At least Windows 8 has the ability to refresh the OS back to original settings without affecting files (and I might just try that sometime this week or weekend).

MDashK
Feb 3, 2014, 04:10 PM
Initially I had my doubts about Windows 8, but since my PC had it in default, I got used to it.
Also, for those who came directly from the XP era to 8 (like myself) the usage of the Classic Shell program add-on really made everything SO MUCH EASIER.

To the point that I completely forgot I was in Win8 and not XP anymore.

Quick question: Is it possible to define a sound to play when a new EQ pops up?
At the current time it is not supported from Win8.
For explanation:
Notifications are an integrated service by Win8.
So you don't need to run the app to get the notifications.
They have some limitations so they can only use System sounds.

Currently it is set on the Windows-Sound of the calender reminder. If you Change it you will hear your Sound. I can creat an selection of the available Windows-Sounds?

Wait... So, what you're saying is: I don't need to open the App to be notified?
Just the fact that it's installed, it will always notify me 15m before each EQ?

Hmm.... "Windows Notify Calendar.wav"...
No, I think that is quite q good "source-of-sound" selection.

If I change the sound I want in there, it will change the sound the App will play, right? Since the app uses that source?

If I change the sound I want in there, it will change the sound the App will play, right? Since the app uses that source?

If you set there a different Sound file it will also Change for the app.

No, I think that is quite q good "source-of-sound" selection.
Nah i mean that you can select a Slot of Windows-Sound... some might use the calender reminder and dont want to Change that.

Does it work if the game is running?

It haven't popped for a single event for me yet.
My time is UTC-3 (configured for summer/daylight saving time) and it's set for ship 6.
i look into it.

Oh OK. Cool. =)

About the other question:

Wait... So, what you're saying is: I don't need to open the App to be notified?
Just the fact that it's installed, it will always notify me 15m before each EQ?

Is this what happens or I have to have the app running in background?

LongInteger
Feb 5, 2014, 02:54 PM
The app doesnt need to run in Background,
you get notification until you deinstall the app or deactifate notifications via App->Settings->Permissions

The apps (W8 metro one) seem to notify a little bit late (~ 13 mins after the EQ started) if it can notify 30 minutes earlier that would be great.

Just came in to report that neither this application nor the Chrome extension seem to have updated for Ship 02 for me in days. Seems to be locked in at 3/13 @ 1-1:30 on the Chrome extension. The app doesn't list the date, though it shows the same time range.

Did something break/fail somewhere down the line or is this exclusively an issue on my end?

EDIT: I don't know what you did, but they're both suddenly working now. First update there's been in like five days lol

I'm looking for iOS developers who are interested in working on the iOS version of PSO2 Alert. Contact me on Skype - ID is TheCrimsonDevil for more information.

Yes, it's finally here - The Desktop EQ Notification System! Based on feedback here (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208193), you simply select your ship, and let it sit. It'll display a new icon in your tray, you can right click it for options.

Picture of the icon:

https://copy.com/sZvUNMXBdwgKimWv

Once an EQ is detected, it will pop up a screen like this:

http://puu.sh/4BDpK.png

Credits:

Gama - For that sexy skin~ <3
Kion - For doing all that awesome back-end programming that the Chrome Extension, and by extension, this program does.
Tyreek - For all those awesome EQ icons!

Current Features:

- Choose which ship to listen for
- Choose ANY sound you wish to play when an EQ is announced
- Enable/Disable starting with Windows

Planned features:

- Choosing which EQs to see and which to ignore
- If you have any ideas, post them!

Download link:

http://arks-layer.com/tweaker/PSO2A.exe

You will also need the .NET framework - You can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653

For Windows XP SP3 users, download this .NET framework: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851

Download link for Windows Phones:

http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/pso-2-alert/96745bda-b69d-41e8-966d-fbef1f4de9eb

Windows 8 Metro version (Desktop and Tablet):

http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/pso-2-alert/be26d916-1c84-4b2a-b6cd-d39c88380c13

Download link for PSO2 Sounds:

http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=214269

Click a sound to preview it (it'll take a second or two). If you like it, go back to the list, right click -> Save target as. Then select your saved WAV file in PSO2 Alert.

Common Questions:

Q: What timezone is the program in?

A: The program will automatically use whatever timezone your computer's clock is set to.

Update log:

1/14/2014:
- Fixed the bug where if the EQ happened at midnight, the program would go nuts
- Added basic multithreading support (The program should be much more responsive in general)
- Removed the button, clicking on the notification itself will send it away
- Added the ability to select which EQs you'd like to be notified for

1/13/2014:

- Added support for our new EQ system, which should pick up 100% of all EQs
- Fixed some bugs, including the pop-up not displaying correctly
- Removed the reporting features, as they are no longer necessary

10/17/2013:
- Added a secondary (backup) EQ System - Program should work 100% again!

10/10/2013:
- Fixed the "cannot connect to remote host" errors.

10/2/2013:
- Fixed the bug where "Start with Windows" wasn't loaded properly
- Converted some of the popups to Balloon tips to make things much better
- Added a "Log in to report EQ" function which will only work for AUTHORIZED users (see below)
- By the time the servers come back, the Secondary EQ System should be working 100%
- Fixed the auto-updating bug

9/30/2013v2:
- Added a "Start with Windows" option, as requested
- Added the ability to check for updates to the program while it's running, instead of only when it's opened.

9/30/2013:
- 100% fixed the bug that prevented EQs from popping up when announced
- Added the ability to play a valid WAV file of your choosing when an EQ is announced!
- Added various routines to prepare for the rollout of our secondary EQ system tomorrow
- Removed Enable/Disable (This was silly to begin with!)

9/29/2013:
- Fixed an issue that would cause EQs to not display correctly
- Added an auto-update feature

9/28/2013:
- Initial release!

AIDA, as a windows phone dev I would like to make a request here. Could you please make a windows phone 7 version as well! Or at least give me the source code so I can make a phone 7 version because I don't have a phone 8 device yet! If you could do that it would be much appreciated.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, and it's nothing significant...

I usually run with my taskbar at the top of my screen, could there be a possibility of the notification pop-up stick close to where the end of the taskbar is?

Top taskbar: Pop-up appears top-right
Bottom taskbar: Pop-up appears bottom-right
Left taskbar: Pop-up appears bottom-left
Right taskbar: Pop-up appears bottom-right

Or possibly choose where it appears, maybe even center of the screen.

It should be the 1 hour warning.

AIDA stated a page back that it tells you an hour beforehand for unannounced Emergency Missions. I can confirm it does. I downloaded the Alert program just after the topic was revived, and it told me Mining Base 2 was coming up an hour before it was up.

PSO2 Alert said it had an update so I attempted to let it run, but Avast blocked it claiming it was a Win32:Evo-gen [susp]. These are sometimes false positives so I took down Avast's shields for a second to let PSO2 Alert update. Afterwards, I turned Avast back on. Now when I run PSO2 Alert, I get this log.

Also, are false positives with PSO2 Alert a common thing?

So, recently this thing has been acting hella wonky to the point I had to remove it. Every time I turn it on now it spams my screen multiple times asking to update, I click yes and A) nothing happens B) program stops responding, oorrrr C) yay more spam asking to update (and I mean this quite literally, 5ish update prompts). So, someone want to tell me what the hell's going on with this? Because it's been pretty essential to me and I'd hate to have to stop using it.

The new version uploaded is working for me thanks, but is it the latest one? It doesn't ask for updates and I remember that the old version I was using was 2.0.8.0 or something :/

This is deleting itself.
No idea how the fuck this works but it's happening.

The 2nd time this happened to me and now the time between using it and it being gone is like half an hour.

Before the last EQ I turned it on and was remembered again that the sound I use is far too loud.
Now, shortly after the EQ I got me Audacity and Lame and wanted to reduce the volume of the sound, checking back with the alert where I saved the sound file.
It's not running.
Then I want to start it again and the file is gone.
Again.
I have no idea how you can even make a program accidentally delete its own executable but it's definitely happening.

I'm using Win 7 Home Premium.

Somehow this isn't working.
It says it's starting with Window but it isn't. And when I want to remove the checkmark and re-set it, I get an exception because the registry key doesn't exist anymore.

Anyway?
Is there a Githhub page for this maybe?
Cause I wouldn't mind fixing this error myself.
(maybe checking why the tweaker always tells me I have to update pso2 but then always fails but pretends it worked).

You mean the image changes even though the description/EQName is the same?

No, he means that Volcanic Guerilla EQ use the Lillipa Desert "display"
Precisely.
I've also seen the Xmas on Ice EQ use the Naberius Forest EQ image.
In these cases of mismatch, clicking "Show Last EQ" to redisplay the popup would not solve the issue; it would continue using the same (incorrect) image and description.

So, I updated to 2.0.1.4 today, and now I can't recieve any EQ updates?

The popup box flashes that it's running, but then is quickly replaced with a message about 'Something is wrong with EQ announcements.' I cannot view a past announcement either. I'm not sure if anything has happened today since the Volcanic EQ around 11am EST, but I was positive I got the alert for that and can't view it for a past announcement.

I installed both the Windows 8 Metro and Windows Phone versions yesterday... they're both stuck saying the last EQ run was Trick or Treat at 5 AM on 11/18/2014. Nothing has been scheduled since, seemingly. I just downloaded the desktop version and it seems to work fine. (it's saying the last one was Dark Falz Elder at 6 AM, which I assume is the truth).

Thanks for the thingy.

Oh and volcanic caves EQ is listed as being a planet Lilipa thing for some reason. You all are probably aware of this though (I see a few pages back you indeed are. But the "description" is not the same as it should be, since it clearly says the wrong planet, which I presume affects which alarms we have to click on or not.)

Mine keeps crashing for some reason using version 2.0.1.5. The Alert doesn't crash much, if at all, when I don't have pso2 open. But the moment I start pso2 from Tweaker, and possibly the vanilla launcher, it crashes.

I start it back up once I've logged in and it will be fine but the moment it says an EQ is coming it will start crashing constantly. Just did Tundra EQ and it crashed about 3 times during it. I get no type of error message besides "pso2 alert has stopped working".

Don't know if it is relevant to this problem but when I tried updating the alert it kept saying it was incompatible so I had to delete the old alert version and download the new version from this thread.

Other than that the program works great love hearing the alert sound I set up for it each time one is coming.

Bump

Want to suggest a few things if you're still up to suggestion/idea.

-An option to make the notice didn't disappear until we click it.
-An option to make the notification SFX repeat after awhile (every 5 minutes seems ok) if the notice is still up.

Yeah, but there's got to be a middleman. The PSO2es early EQ notifications require premium, and I sort of doubt that if AIDA isn't maintaining the tool anymore, that they're paying for premium just to keep the notifications running.
