Is it me, or have the 'tube times' between jumping blocks or transitioning between the Lobby/Campship/Mission increased? It seems to have gotten worse as of late, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I remember having this problem using Aida's tweaker and the Large Files patch, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with it this time.

Depending on your computer specs or ISP latency, that whats affects it.

I live in Japan, have fiber optic internet, have a decent computer, play the game in raw Japanese and it still hangs pretty long. I think Sega is using the company toaster as a server.

It seems like every patch my lag gets worse. Especially right after the patch.

No notice here. Though I just recently got a new PC so that may be why.

Switching blocks always takes the longest for me. I can load into a camp ship or from a camp ship into a mission from sub 1 second to up to 3~ seconds though. Switching blocks however usually takes 6+ seconds.

Higher fps = faster loading times (doesn't seem to affect block changing much). Try setting fps cap to 90 if your pc capable of pulling over 60fps. You could do 120 or unlimited but that just makes your gpu get hotter for minimal change. I'd assume lower latency would help as well, but sitting in Texas I ping around 230 to Japan. I remove the sega / nvidia / pc opening videos and run the game fullscreen instead of borderless window (this combination fixed mouse slowdown from fps drop during ketos proi or vardha exploding at fps caps greater than 60 for me). Also, I just use the base English patch with no large files or story patch.

Built this PC roughly 2 years ago: i5 2500k > ASRock z68 Extreme3 Gen3 > Gskill 8GB ddr3 1600 > 560ti > 120gb agility 3 ssd > corsair ax650 psu > etc. Use max in game settings at 1920x1080, too lazy to bother with nvidia inspector tweaks. Usually pull between 90-130fps if unlimited (less in lobbies which is probably why they take longer to load, lol), but capped to 90 most of the time so the gpu fans stay quiet. Probably buy a 770 or 760 soon or a cheaper 7950 boost, not that I play anything that needs the extra power. :-?
