When PSO2 fails patching at first launch, does it save the progress youve downloaded?

My pc is having a bit of trouble downloading PSO2 and it gets the connection error thingy often.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just haven't had a true answer to it.

Yeah it's very unclear to its progress, but it will continue on the file it left off on; it just won't acknowledge it.

Too bad it has to load the file check all over again though so if it disconnects a lot don't be surprised if you're patching for a long time. (Known from personal experience.) It becomes quite a pain.

You can try downloading the Tweaker. It actually patches the game faster than the official launcher.

I could never get it to work. ^^; I was wondering though if it has the disconnect problem like the normal patch.
