Trying to get a dark skin color scheme going, help?

So I wanna give my caseal dark skin (like dark brown, tanned, whatever, y'know black girl skin :P) but for some reason I just can't get the right color set up for it.

Game uses asian based skin tone (mostly)

Top half of the skin color graint field-whatever will be grayish(ashy)
Bottom half will have all that color, but something still seem off-ish.

(or at least I THINK that was it, could be reverse from what I'm saying)

You'll be able to tell because one side darkest looks charcoal-like, and otherwise looks more chocolaty. But yeah, you won't always get perfectly accurate dark skin color depending on what you're going for.

The game's shaders are very strange in the respect of color. All shaders (unless you play with min quality) change the color of your skin slightly and you really don't get a good sample of general light since the game dynamics a lot. My character is about 80% white in the middle and the skin will vary from pale as a ghost to pink to red depending on the location and lighting. The game also isn't ment to look realistic, it's an 'anime' like style so I would just find what looks good and roll with it. =^.^=

Yeah I realized the dynamic lighting can do some funky things to skin color, I'm just looking for something along the lines of Cyron's char http://cyron-pso2.tumblr.com/ .

I suppose I can use this maint time and mess around via the char creator.
