The tool

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2675769

the user.pso custom resolution i used.

Windows = {
Width3d = 640,
FullScreen = false,
Height = 740,
Height3d = 480,
VirtualFullScreen = false,
ManagedDevice = false,
Width = 1366,

so my screen height is 768, so i subtracted the size of the taskbar and the game rounded it up to 740, dunno why. anyway it worked good.

after that on the tool
i had the same res set, so it doesn't stretch, and fits my screen like i want it to.

1366 740, stupid text box.

So, Window mode but without borders, stretched to full screen....If Window mode does add performance to the game than Virtual FS, might as well try this. Thanks for sharing ^^

if using a bigger res, just use the resolution of your screen and subtract the height of your taskbar for it to fit.

I dunno I don't really see a reason to so this over normal virtual full screen and just alt-tabbing when you wanna check something

its just a preference, and i decided to share Lord Derpington.

the tool also enables you to use lower resolutions, and then stretch them.

Tested it, and for the 1st 15 minutes, pretty positive result. Since I'm the type to multitask, the app is perfect for me.
A question tho, does a 1366x768 window mode run the game better, performance-wise, than Virtual Fullscreen?

window mode and virtual fullscreen are the same.

diference is that virtual forces the max res on your screen.

the tool aside from enabling custom resolutions and make them borderless also enables you to change the max res on the virtual full screen.

i didn't notice any performance issues/differences.

and i have a low end card. so any performance hogging is usually obvious.

We're kinda similar then. Even though no performance change, the taskbar is what makes the tool very useful to me. Kudos~ (`_^ )b

It's works well on old pso as well thank you :D

fullscreen for that game = flickering ever 2 mins or so but now I can finally escape classic windowed mode.

Does it overlap the taskbar if you max the res or does the taskbar stay on top

if you dont take into account the taskbar, it will cover the taskbar
