XBox: For those that are coming over to PSOX, poll time!

How many of you are planning on getting the USB keyboard adapter for PSOX?

I'm going to get it mainly because sometimes, I might not wanna chat with voice and I might prefer the keyboard method from time to time. Overall though I plan on doing the voice chat.

I am also getting it...just for those times when I don't feel like chatting, when I wanna send mail, when it's really overly crowded in the lobby, and of course, so I can break it down in the lobbies.

Yes, Keyboard is a must for mailing a friend who is in a locked or full team.
It's useful to me also when I have to type sthing I cannot fully explain in spoken japanese.
the adapter was inside the Xbox live package.
M$ making people pay to get it sent to them seems really paranoid to me .. Just so no one can say :
Ah Ha !! you said no keyboard for Xbox and look at what is now on sale !!

Perhaps my overuse of throat-singing, Jew's Harp, and my mild schizophrenia(the kind that Robin Williams has, where you slip in and out of different voice/characters without noticing. I don't think all of PSO want's me to be doing my Karl, from Sling Blade, impression that often) could get annoying. So I'll be using voice-chat when it's a ppropriate. Plus, when typing I've less a chance of aggravating my Aphasia while trying to explain something.(As opposed to "Y'know that thing, that you do, could it be done, that thing you do... Uh... What's it called... SHIFTA" or "Hey, I've... gotta... something... Y'know, that thing, that people do... Uhm... err Uhhh.... Umm... SLEEP! Yeah, I gotta go to sleep.")

I'll get it. Why not? Sometimes the headset irritates my ears so I'll switch over. It's nice to have two options. Then of course writing mails and other things would be easier.

i'll be getting the converter... even though the headset will be my main method of communication, i just can't imagine pso without a keyboard. i actually made my own usb converter about a month ago, just in case they decided not to give them away. but mine connects to the control port (like the ones they sell at liksang), so i don't know if it's going to work or not. i really don't care now if it doesn't, but it would be cool if i had a keyboard during the first day (lobby animations, email, etc..).

Keyboard is a must...especially when some idiot tries to be perverted over the headset, you can mute them, and hope that they don't have a keyboard. If they don't, just type your type of laughter a lot, whether it be Muwahahaha or Hahahahahah or heheheheheh or hohohohoho or anything like that. I don't even have a USB keyboard, so it'd be pretty pointless to me unless I went out and bought one... which I probably won't.

yea, i'd have to buy a usb keyboard also. Voice chat is sufficient, i'll prolly just get the keyboard adapter for nostalgia

I will. For the reasons stated above. And, well, if there's a typing level like in the GC one, it would help a lot. Messages above heads is a MUST for any old-school PSO'er IMHO.

Of course I'll be getting it. And I have a few reasons for doing so:

-It allows me to do lobby animations
-It makes naming games, naming faces, and passwording games much, much easier
-It makes simple mail much easier
-It makes putting info on the guild card easier

The Keyboard will be great for Simple mail!

ahem, sorry, kind off lost it there. just ordered my usb adaptor. the total was $7.52 for tax and shipping(ups standard). wait a minute..i just realized... why was i charged tax if the adaptor cost $0? ahhh nevermind, i need some sleep.. everyone who is getting the adaptor...order it now!
