im running in virtual fullscreen and i think im getting screen tearing and its only for this game and not any other game. (the like a invisable line in middle/lower part of my screen when ever i walk sometimes)

Weird, as I had tearing back when I used fullscreen, changing to virtual solved this without affecting my framerate.

Check on your videocard config panel if Vsync is enabled, automatic or disabled. If it is either disabled or automatic, leave it at enabled.

if you disable aero, you are disabling also vsync for windowed mode

is there any registry hacks to enable v-sync while still having aero disabled?

Not that I was able to figure out. I had the same problem with Netflix, I ended up just re-enabling Aero. What kind of video card do you use? I was getting tearing during cutscenes, so I ended up just forcing Vsync for PSO2 in the nVidia control panel.

using a AMD card and i tryed forceing V-sync for pso2.exe and no luck

you won't be able to do shit since vsync is reliant on aero for windowed stuff: it uses it basically

what if i enable V-sync + triple buffering from the video card? (for system wide)
