Servers have been dead on all platforms for a couple years now.

And no, there isn't a private server. Some fella named Essen (and his team) was making one, but he recently quit; however I think he'll hand off his work to anyone else (who's knowledgeable) who wants to take it up. Can't remember if he actually said that.
