Alright so I made a build for gunner but I'm unsure whether to put the last 5 SP into "Attack PP Restraint" or "Zero Range Advance 2" (or possibly to change the build all together). I'm looking for advice on what do to and appraisal of my build. Thanks in advance.

Chain Finish is not worth it at this point. With the build you have in your post, you'd get an extra 35% damage multiplied onto 200-500% extra damage from Chain Trigger.
Meanwhile, your normal damage at full hp and at zero range is lacking an extra 20% damage, an extra 32 R-atk, and half of Attack PP Restorate.
You don't need to max Fury Critical in the hu tree because it's close to useless, and that clears room to get Just Reversal on the hu tree. You don't need to put a point into Dive Roll Advance because S-Roll is generally better for avoiding attacks anyway.

Well, that's my reasoning.

Your build seems good, I wasn't all that sure about Chain Finisher in the first place and not using all those points to get it seems much nicer. Only thing I'm not sure on is those 5 extra SP you have into "R-ATK Up 2" is 32 R-ATK really worth 5 whole SP. I mean wouldn't it be better to put them into like S Roll Up for .4 more power on it, I would think that would make more of an impact then 32 R-ATK. After using 3 SP on it I would have 2 SP left and thats just enough to get Just Reversal on the gunner tree and leave the hunter as is.

Like so: http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/skillcalc.php?06egbnIkbnIkbnIkbnIkbnIkbnIkbnIkfdt0 IbInqnGKJ7JiGA000007b000009b000000jdB2QHScFInfGAqo bp0000ib000000lb0000000Ib000008

The thing is S roll up thing is pretty pointless since it's such a small amount of damage and doesn't lend itself to your PAs which is where ALL your damage is coming from. R Atk up will boost PA damage which is more important. Reasonably you could put more points into CT to reduce cooldown instead but it doesn't do you much good unless you're chaining a bunch of bosses. in a short time. R Atk is much more generalized

Hmmm, guess that makes sense. Either way I'm working on getting Hunter to 65 first since I have it at 45 and it can't go any higher as a subclass. So I got sometime to figure out what I'm doing, tho I'm probably going to do exactly the same build that Bellion posted, it seems excellent. Thanks for the help, though if anyone else has anything to add its very much welcomed.

This is my suggestion. Pretty much bellion's, except I added the extra r-atk points into aerial advance instead. If you like using elder rebellion, it'll increase the chance that your juggles will lead to dead enemies and not flying half-dead stuff. Flying enemies that are juggled are affected by the multiplier twice, which is 12.3% extra damage in this case. When we finally get the extra SP to max it, it'll be applying 44% extra damage to El Ahda, breeahda, windira, etc.

You don't lose much by sacrificing the extra r-atk. 32 r-atk is about 1.5% total damage at end-game, and it'll keep depreciating as the game goes forward.

Huh well that seems pretty good as well, I don't have Shift Period PA yet but out of the others Elder Rebellion and Infinity Fire are probably my two favorites though I haven't played Gunner enough yet to really have tested them all out enough to really say. Definitely a build to consider.

You can get shift period 1 from the photon drop shop on the second level of the shop area for a photon crystal. Well worth it. The PA pretty much removes TMG's only weakness prior.

As for aerial advance, it will also help for things you juggle with heel stab. Perhaps it'll help you one-shot SH Wondas one day. Of course, AA is a very low priority skill.. get it after everything else.

you can try this as well, 25PP for 30 secs isn't something but it'll help you spam Elder Rebellion more.

Looking at your link, it's Showtime Star that add the 25pp, which is right under Showtime.

are you saying showtime is completely worthless aside from getting aggro at TD?
and an additional 25 PP pool for 30 secs which also has a 30 secs cooldown?

I believe what Sandmind is saying is rather obvious. The build you linked only has 1 SP into Showtime which unless it's hidden does not give 25 PP its Showtime Star underneath it (requiring 2 SP into Showtime to get to) that adds the PP to Showtime. Which you could get by removing Dive Roll Advance and Just Reversal, however this is a build I am personally not interested in, I don't think its worth using the 5 SP there.

So far I like Bellion and GALEFORCE's builds the best.

I'm pretty sure I got the showtime star to 1 before linking it.

With PPR lv.10, you -almost- only have to attack while srolling to be able to use most PAs again. More like two srolls or an sroll and a normal attack or something.

Also about AA, if the flying enemy is really close to the ground it'll count as being on the ground. (See: http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%82%AC%E3%83%B3%E3%83%8A%E3%83%BC)

Google translate also says "Disable also the enemy of falling" or something. I don't know if that means it doesn't apply while an enemy is falling or if it "can still incapacitate an enemy while it's falling in midair".

Eh well... you didn't but not that it really matters.

you've chosen your build anyway.
