PSO2 Keeps downloading something

Hello guys.. I have a problem here, i hope u can help me
So my pso2 keeps downloading something inside game so i cant play (high ping because it download something).. and then the cpu usage become 98-100% :-?
any solution? help me please

the damn big video files, just let it dl nothing can be done so far

the on screen video usually play at shop area and lobby area, if it was in black screen and notice the lag and seeing cpu usage overdose meant client try to download and process the video files, u can check at my document/ sega / temp folder, usually files will be auto move when done to win32 folder.

Lobby video, the big screen in the shop lobby, and small screen in ark lobby.

THose videos can be disabled in the patcher/loader.
THe button RIGHT BELOW the big button, then the second tab. The option you want to select is Do Not display on the monitor (will turn off those shop/gate area screens)

It will show, most likely, as "Do Not Display videos on a giant mon" because of the text formatting being wonky.... by the way.

if for some reason its showing in JP for you, with no english text on that? its the two options that are not checkboxes so much as the circles that can only one be filled in type. THe option you want is the bottom of the two available. They are below a dropbox you shouldn't touch.

it MIIIIGHT free up some CPU though from trying to play them. Worth a shot right?

Yeah, it does. A friend of mine had this same issue. It took ages for her to download and she even tried restarting a few times. Eventually she just said the hell with it and logged off to go to sleep.

You're just going to have to let it sit there and finish, as stupid as it is.

did you go another ship? I notice when I go another ship the on screen is black again and it start download the video again , so I decide not to visit other ship once completed again and it fine now.

after log in , they put us on random lobby i think... and download again :s
I hope sega will fix it tomorrow
