from my younger sister who is community moderator in funnel asia (another game company, not asiasoft parent company) was visit asiasoft kuala lumpur office (only 7km from her office at saturday morning) to see these hyper busy pso2 sea teams including cm and gm. however cm did not give the answer but gm can give answer about the problems and client error in pso2 client. here is some question and answer in pso2 sea systems round time. (cm means cm kiiro-my younger sister and gm means game master in pso2 sea whos work at asiasoft)
cm- wow so many from this forum (pso world forum) was complain asiasoft in operating pso2 sea. 1st question is- many said why pso2 na was havent launch in us country. these players was keep asking to asiasoft about this question.
gm- we understanding na pso2 still in progress to launch, but asiasoft will know the na pso2 was keep delaying to launch by sega decession, even asiasoft unable to answer to us players about time and date for na pso2 launch. if still players not happy, please email to sega about na pso2 thingy.
cm- why players said the client translation is more controversy in translating into english?
gm- it is because the client translate to english is not do by asiasoft workers, its translate by sega itsself, so thats why the translation more crappy than we thought. (even cm know japan translator is hyper bad in english too.....)
cm- why some country players unable to play pso2 sea?
gm- because asiasoft was sign contract with sega, it listed server only operate on 6 asean country, hence is malaysia, singapore, indonesia, philipines thailand and vietnam. others country players if play pso2 sea will got error 249 when connect to server.
cm- other errors can comfirmed by pso2 sea can you details about it?
gm- np1002-game guard unable to support windows xp because microsoft was stop support in windows xp since 4 april. error 630-- modem speed slow (modem internet package must over 1mbps). error 105--- got malware or adware inside computer, please clean it up by anti virus. error 601--player havent get beta key, please get beta key at playpark website, playpark id needed to access it. Error WinHTTP 0 [no. 103]-- hence you use windows 8.1 which unable support by pso2, please use other older windows. error 677- hence you enter the offline server ship, please enter another ship.
cm- (show her laptop which is only use amd e-450 apu processor) is it my laptop can run pso2 sea?
gm- after testing it hence this laptop can run pso2 sea without boundaries because this processor is only 1.65ghz still got graphics will slow fps speed.
cm- after pso2 sea launch, will pso2 jp will block sea players to play it?
gm- nope, because jp pso2 is only block china country players, sea players still can play pso2 jp.
cm- same situation for na server?
gm- i havent any news about na server comfirmation. high possible is na sserver will block sea players to play pso2 na.
cm- its seems asiasoft got another language-- thailand server. is it got effect for sea players?
gm- its only open for thailand server but the server only thai language and was start since 2nd april. however its only for thailand ip only, others country ip will blocked.
