Black Screen after talking to afhin

So I just installed PSO2, got all the patches, started it up, created my character and then started the game. When Afhin finished talking it leads into the tutorial area of the game but before that area even loads I get a black screen. Is there a way to fix this? I can still hear the BGM but can't see my cursor or click on anything.

Try doing the tutorial without the story patch on.

Don't, wait for newer patch since it may cause you more issues later on.

You can play the game with the regular english patch it covers all the important stuff. The story patch only is meant for story missions which you can skip entirely if you want.

Um I am now getting pso2.exe has stopped working when I launch it from tweaker. It was working last night where it would take me to the intros but now it doesn't

Do a file check and then only install the basic english patch file for now.
