So how do you exactly get the best weapons/armor in this game? I'm assuming that they aren't in the player shops (or maybe they are, IDK), but especially for ranger, what's the best Assault Rifle you can get and where do you really get it?

This isn't really up-to-date most of the time but at least it has the weapons list and where they drop from. (cirno's been slow at updating but pso2 wiki is constantly updated but you'll need to translate that site).

All weapons under 12* can be traded/sold, any 7*-9* that are equipped becomes bind so you can't My Shop them but this does not apply for 10*s and 11*s since you can equipped them around and sell them.
