View Full Version : JP PSO2 Anyway to get the data for your character creation?

I know when you create a character, you can save the settings. Just wondering where the file would be when you save it because I looked in the PSO2 folder and under your local account name folder and I didn't see anything obvious that would lead to that.

Files are saved in this folder

C:\Users\PC USERNAME\Documents\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2

Ok cool, I looked in there but I must have missed it the first time.

I noticed that for my newly created character, the file is .fdp
but for the older characters from back in 2012, its .fnp
and other is .fcp.

Anyone know why the differences in extensions?

Race/Sex.

First letter is M/F, for male/female, while the second letter is H/N/C/D, for the 4 races. Last letter just means "Player" I guess.

Ah ok, thanks, at first I didn't understand why sega just didn't make it all the same ext but this makes sense!

It's because most of the races have at least one customization option that the others don't, and some of the options that are shared (skin tone for instace), will come out with different results even if it used the same coordinates on the color palette.
