Considering that's it's F2P and that most of the real cash you spend is on esthetic stuff, how much money are they making out of this?

Hey, you know what they say, if you haven't seen it before, it's new to you.

And on that note, HOLY SHIT, over $36 000 000 (USD), that probably combines most of the lifetime revenues of PSO + PSU.

Huh what? Riot makes hundreds of millions of USD from LoL, not tens of millions. They're in a completely different league.

Though make no mistake, $36m on a game with as small a budget as PSO2 is still a really good RoI. It's just a shame that that doesn't translate to, um, quality content (Falz Luther notwithstanding).

*makes 35 million, can't even properly UV a rock resulting in stretched textures*

*makes 35 million, can't even come up with a fun and creative game mode*

*makes 35 million, 10:1 female to male ratio of costumes* (or rather the other way around)

We're given relatively little for what people tend to pay. A lot of the new content is still areas we've ran before, just dressed up in various ways. Others are singular missions locked away from us, namely EQs.

That's what sega is about lol. If the formula yields money, no reason to fix/change it.
