HELP! I cannot see my character when trying to create him!

I can't see the damn characters, only their hats? Ive updated direct x, tried fixing my patches, updated my drivers, cleared disk space, using the minimum settings, and resarting my computer. Nothing works! I tried posting this on the pso2 reddit, but no one has responded in 2 hours... Anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried installing DirectX 9.0c specifically? (Not through the auto-installer dxdwebsetup.exe)
