I run PSO2 at like 10 fps on a basic Compaq Hp laptop. Its horrible. Im going to buy a new laptop( so i can do things On The Go) and i need to know whats gonna be fine to be able to run PSO2 on 30-40 fps or so on average. I dont want to go overboard and spend a buttload of money on a laptop thats gonna run on 60fps. I just need about 30-40 to be fine with me.
What would be the proper specs to get up to this.

Processor, Ram, video card suggestions?

My right now:

Processor: AMD C-50 Processor 1.00 GHz
Installed RAM : 2.00
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6250

So what should i upgrade to?
I really need specific items to get.
Thanks

You might need alot of cash for a decent gaming laptop. It's expensive, you might opt for PC.
(Currently playing at 30fps at medium settings, Acer Aspire 4752G w/ 1GB Nvidia 630m)

Make sure whatever you get that is has discrete graphics and not integrated. What is your price range you're looking to spend?

Just don't expect getting decent performance on integrated graphic.
Been using Asus K47CB with medium setting running on 60fps.

Real world environment.
Win 7 or 8.1 makes no difference.
i5 and or above can run the game.
8GB RAM will do it. (not sure now much of a multitasked you are)
NVIDIA GPU prefer, 5xxm and above. (since you want a laptop)
SSD. Highly Recommended. 120GB above. (be sure it is running at SATA3-6Gbps)
If you are using Wire Network, best is straight to internet.
(not going though your router, switch are ok)
If it's wireless, any N-card will do.

After all, sky is the limited.

What I use.

Most gaming laptops usually have i7 with either 4700QM or 4700HQ which is a quad core going at 2.4Ghz boosting up to 3.4Ghz, i5 is dual core for laptops, quad core for desktops.

SSD is nice for loading windows and programs faster but still need a device for storage since 120GB won't be enough (external HDD or secondary drive) most newer laptops should have SATA III boards on them now.

So how much your budget is for this new computer you want to buy?

You don't need much to get decent performance with this game. I have a higher-end Dell XPS 15 that I bought refurbished several years ago for about $700-800 and it still does the job just fine, so you could definitely find something serviceable for less than that now.

^Yeah, to play the game it doesn't take much in mid to low settings. I can play this with very little slow slowdown on an old laptop that has the a first gen i3 with Nvidia discrete graphics it's like 3 years old cost around 600$ iirc. Even with integrated graphics the latest cheap newer computers in the 500+ range should be able to run it no problem, just don't expect it to do high setting recordings.
