How did I just sell a 5s Precious Sword Balmung for 15m in less than an hour?

That thing was sitting in my shop on Ship 8 for 10m for a week.

Bad.

Who bought it?

Arksenth
Jun 4, 2014, 11:30 PM
Someone who immediately put it back up for 20m apparently.

What is WRONG with your ECONOMY.

Might I remind you that this is ship 2. Everything is bought then resold higher than the original.

Welcome to ship 2, where almost nobody understands how economics works.

And you people STILL complain about how little meseta you have?

On my ship, affixed and grinded stuff actually goes for less than your expenses because everyone sells that stuff used.

Here, you can just affix a random whatever and get 3x the cost.

Seriously?

I am filled with even more contempt for all of you!

This is a common fluctuating economic strategy that occurs more-so with higher quantities of currency floating about.

Welcome to the flippers grind.

Why does someone put up a completely ungrinded Elder Soul/Tech III/Spirita III/Spirita Boost Seimeikikami for 5m when PP boosts alone are worth 4m?!

I don't understand.

Fuck this logic, buying this and grinding it and flipping it around.

Elder/techIII/spiritaIII/x/x is expensive it doesn't matter if it's a 1* or an 11*. If there's none available in the market for a particular affix you can sell things similar 5s for 5-10mill and 6s for 10-20mill.

You're talking about fodder. This is a finalized weapon. It's like someone decided to upgrade it, gave up halfway through, and then put it up for more than it cost in the first place.

In my shop now for 11m - cheapest on the market! Only cost me 1.4m including mats to grind to Lv. 3 +10!

Massive brain haemorrhaging from the logic.

Makes no difference when it comes to affixing. A "finalized weapon" no matter what it is as a fodder would outsell it, this is basic stuff here.

Probably not a good idea dood. You'd be better off with Weddle park and ilmegid. Sazan, even uncharged with elysion, probably isnt worth 30m. Judging from what I've heard (I dont use it, myself), you'd be looking at like....5?k per tick with near maxed out stats and wind masteries.

This is probably why I'm still poor.

I've been too honest with this economy.

;_;

All I want is an Aseracta man.

Tis all ask.

Yeah B20 economy is really something.

10* midia arms going from 5m to 100k in less than ten sellers, -75% undercuts on +2m worth weapons ...

People selling 4s fodders with Stat I for 5k but Stat III for 500k

Sell a costume for 3.2m, someone is going to undercut you with 2.4m,

"why? ... because fuck you, that's why" - Ship02

Macman
Jun 5, 2014, 12:55 PM
Why? Because B20 doesn't buy arks cash and they have to get their shit out the door RIGHT THE FUCK NOW before their pitiful 3-day shop passes expire.

HIT0SHI
Jun 5, 2014, 01:08 PM
Yes, clearly its B20's fault for ruining the economy and not the entire Ship 2 as a whole.

The economy isn't that bad you know. It just follows the "supply & demand" principle. If something is low on stock price will go up and vice versa. It's irrelevant of how worthy the item is.

It follows the "undercut by 50% to crash values ASAP".

I take it a lot of the ERP you've seen happens in your team room?

Oh, ZING.

But, really, I've not seen any, unless we're counting the painful dialogues B20 pooplords will engage in once in a while...which I'm not.

Rengemaru
Jun 6, 2014, 12:47 AM
It won't crush the value if the demand was high. Low demand will make undercut items sell much slower. Making new sellers place them at the same low price. Hence making the average price lower.

I tried undercutting many times, it only got my item sold cheaply.
