18.5k first hit of Shunka -> low 10ks of first hit of Shunka. RIP ; _; Displayed power modifier of Shunka is changed to 2.8k to make it a bit more accurate? In otherwords pre-nerf it was more like 5k+ power modifier displayed.
In other news, I'm doing 4k per slash + 9k final of Asagiri and 4k + 14k Gekka.

Gekka-zakuro power increased from 372 to 750, PP Cost reduced to 20.
Asagiri-rendan power increased from 303 to 1420.

Always liked it, it's just kinda weird. It does decent damage but can be hard to land on some things... at least it feels like that when the action heats up.

I'm still solo'ing TA w/ Shunka and getting it done. You need to aim for weak spots more, and count on a bit more time. It's still effective.

Is Shunka's damage output now low enough that the other PAs can actually outdo it in terms of raw DPS?

Sad thing is, it's still far better then almost every PA the other melee classes have.

SHUNKA still does more overall damage than other PAs other than hatou.

But now with other PAs being stronger, it may be the case that other stuff, even asigiri, is better mobbing.

It's still probably the most efficient dps PA. Gekka will outdps it on enemies with weak spots Gekka can hit. Asagiri will out burst Shunka and when used in conjunction with katana combat is better for damaging areas Shunka has a hard time reaching.

The most important thing to note I think is that the initial hit of Shunka is still enough damage to disarm a Goldrahda and make it flinch.
