I think Sakai's cat spilled his coffee cup on the game servers. That's why this announcement (http://pso2.jp/players/news/?id=3835) specifically mentions game data being intact, they are obviously hiding something.

Mentions the error 107 not being an IP block.

since the asia$hit's SEA english release happened, pso2 became $hitty this days

game that doesnt launch doesnt mean people live in caves, watch your mouth
since the IP block started you can reach on the ship selection showing maintenance but now the launcher doesnt launch due to this error

PSO2 JP Servers have been down for about a week due to a DDOS attack... I'm sure you'll find news of it on PSO-W, reddit, just about everywhere.

Error No. 107 occurs because the File Check Servers are down.

There is no IP block. It's a DDoS attack. Sega is trying to set up means to protect the servers. There won't be any region locks.

Don't mind the forum elitists. Some people just can't get in their minds that not everyone checks psow multiple times everyday.
