New to pso2 and need some help

Hi all, just finished downloading and installing pso2 + all the english files and replacing them and everything, however when i try to get on the game, it plays a little intro video and then just goes to a black screen, no options of any kind, nothing to click on etc.

Was wondering if anyone else has ever ran into this issue, and if so, how did you guys fix it?

Or is it because of the servers issues ive been hearing about?

It's the servers issues you're been hearing about.

well the server isnt working properly.

black screen means that most probabbly you either had a english patch install incorrectly or the game isnt fully updated.

wait until the server is working properly.
