Good VPN Suggestions

For the people out there who know this kind of stuff. I'm not familiar with it and don't want to do anything that will be shittier than using a free VPN. I tried the AWS thing but just doesn't seem to work. :) So any suggestion for a worthwhile VPN out there? And how can you get a VPN working so that I can connect with a PS Vita?

Some routers support connecting to a vpn or ssh tunel directly. That way you can connect your psv to vpn/ssh service. If your router doesn't support this feature, check if it can be flashed to openwrt, ddwrt or tomato. VPN services like overplay, strongvpn, vanish vpn and many more have tutorials or preconfigured flash images to connect directly to their services.
However you might want to fire an email to your ISP asking if they can check their backbone to resolve this issue instead going through these methods.
