Hey, guys.

I know the servers are having issues, but until Sega actually publishes the location of the PSO2 servers to the rest of the world's ISP corps, I'd like to see if I can get back in the game (literally).

The Tweaker still downloads updates, but says the servers offline. When I connect, I get Error 249.

Now, I know people are using VPNs to bypass these errors...but I'm not sure how to set one up...or whatever.

Windows 7
Comcast Xfinity
USA, NJ

If someone could point me in the right direction, with what program to use, or what to set up, so I can actually get into the PSO2 servers, I'd appreciate it.

---Or---

If there is another way I can get to the servers without using a VPN...I'd love to know...I keep getting teased by "free VPNs" that end up hitting you with monthly fees after the first few months...

There should be more...

There's not much to it, you just open the vpn program pick JP server and hit connect. You now have a JP connection and can enter the game normally. They usually cost around $5-$10 each month so that Amazon one seems like a really good option.

With the amazon one, you just have to keep the instance running.

Just don't use any free VPNs like softether, as you'll potentially expose your computer to malicious hosters that could steal information from you.
