Uninstalled yet? Its been since June 20th since the dastardly attack and for those who are just waiting it out I'm curious are you there attempting to launch the sever everyday hoping to see the magical launcher with news and that big button that says PLAY or you just said "Eff it I'm uninstalling!"

Just so we're clear on things I'm mentally fine during this situation I just feel iffy about having a program thats hogging most of my HDD.

I'd say it's too soon to uninstall (for those who prefer to wait rather than use a VPN or another solution).

I haven't uninstalled yet and I don't think I will be until the UK gets IP banned permanently. I'm a patient person so I can wait awhile for a solution to be found.

Why would I uninstall a game that I play every day? :3

Jul 13, 2014, 03:15 PM
Well VPN hasnt gotten me banned, and with my mouth of late, neither has that so Whats the point in waiting? o.o

I mean its your call, but VPN or not I doubt anything will change except what you do with your time.

In the time i played- i got some 11*, some fun points and made a few mil meseta. My only reason for playing now? I was being a dumbass and activated premium with 2k AC, thats 30$ CAD that I don't want to go waste(more so).

Yes, I have uninstalled.

Not for the DDoS or block, but because I lost my account due to "security ban" from VPN usage and I still haven't received any word back for my support tickets after 15 days - not even the generic "no gaijin support, go away" reply. =/

Yup. I have no need to uninstall. If the game is eventually accessible again I'll just launch it and wait for it to update. If not, well, it's next to multiple terabytes of porn with plenty of space left to fill.

Haven't uninstalled yet, but by the end of the month, if some of us (like myself for ex) still can't connect, then i'll know what to do

Not uninstalling until I am sure I won't play this again. And I am hoping to build a better PC that can handle PSO2 and a few other games better than this crappy laptop next month so either way (if the game comes back up) I will be reinstalling. If I have to use a VPN to access the game (free or otherwise), It'll just wait until the new PC is up as well.

I have all the Patience in the world. I know that when I return I will be severely under leveled and under geared but WTH. It's not my fault so if a slow someone down because of it then it's no my problem. I'll w8 till the next year.

Lol real question is why? In today's world, people should have plenty of space and its not like HDs cost a lot of money. If I heard a response like that from someone, then:

A) Type of person who lives from paycheck to paycheck with no extra change.

B) Teenager with no job or too lazy to work around the neighborhood for cash. Or you're just unemployed and not a teenager.

C) Have no idea how to install one which is hilarious since you can just youtube it.

D) You have no room to install another one. In which case you must really be using a old computer.

E) Have a SSD and doesn't have much space.

F) Has a crappy laptop with little space. Must be really old because my laptop from 2008 Has 500GB on it and I consider that really old.

Eh anyways, PSO2 will be collecting dust with some of the other PC games that collect dust on my SSD as I have a dedicated SSD for games. Like I said countless times, all I eventually did in PSO2 was log in to play barbie, do 1 run and then log off lol. Or try out the new content for a while then eventually quit again.

I haven't, though the temptation is quite strong.

Nah, it's just sitting there, waiting.

Even if I did, I have the installer, nestled right between my Tracy Lawrence MP3s and the picture of a tank jumping off a ramp.

....Maybe I should organize that soon. Been a while.

This is awesome. If it was me who said it I'd get a lot of hate from ABCDEF. Thank goodness you said it first. o3o

ANd boy is the game better with most people off. Block 20 works. I still find parties, it's all great.

Why would you ever Uninstall PSO2? Even if you can't play it anymore, you should look fondly at its icon knowing that your computer is graced with having the greatest of all time online game being a husk in your system. I would rather pay $1000 a week to play this great game than give up and Uninstall it. That's how much I love PSO2.

Downloading another 20GB(or was it 32GB?) game just because you uninstalled out of rage and wanted to play again in the future is madness if you have a retardedly slow internet.....I would just transfer the entire game into an external HDD if I would ever wanted to play again(still playing btw.)

No, Don't plan on it either, just because this is something I expected from Sega, especially the Japanese branch.

I bet they are laughing and insulting us too right now, but when I get back on, boy will I have a story to tell...

I love this game too much to let some selfish people stop me from enjoying it.
