I highly doubt it, but maybe a few ISP's might be able to get in, and some of them might be knocked off. Who knows.

I think it'll just be the standard of suddenly some can connect and suddenly others cannot, as has been suggested before...

the world will be at peace.... if sea block is lifted...
but i doubt it. that's why i use vpn no matter what happen after it. i do everything in order to be able to play...

i don't see how maint will change anything, but every day a few more can get to pso2.jp, so yeah, *some* more will no doubt be able to get on+^_^+

Just to give Comcast Users some hope; I woke up just now, about 4:30 and my site pinger went off, indicating chrome had after weeks established a connection. I can now resolve and tracert to Pso2.jp, and the game as well with no issues.

tl;dr comcast starting to work again

Of course the maintenance won't allow you to connect. SEGA already officially confirmed that the problem has been fixed. What this means is if you live outside of Japan, you won't be able to connect until your ISP says you can.

as much as i naysayed my rss reader fetched successfully the pso2.jp rss (http://pso2.jp/players/pso2news.xml) when i wasnt watching :-?
