Hey there,

I've installed the pre-patch last week but got asked again today. Was a different one? Did anyone else get this situation?

Oh good, I'm not crazy. BTW, I may need to reinstall Windows, is there a more up to date PSO2 setup that I can use?

There's one on the Arks-Layer site, but I haven't updated it in a bit (2 or 3 updates), I'm waiting on the Episode 3 release.

You're kidding, this game will run without being properly installed in Windows?

Doesn't GameGuard give you any issues?

A lot of old games work like that though, at best you just have to take note of the save folder position and boom.

But yes, essentially, PSO2 won't need an installer to be able to run properly. The only extra thing you'd need to back up is probably the SEGA folder in \Documents?

If anything, just delete the game guard folder and GG will reinstall itself to your new PSO2 destination folder.
