I'm not sure this belongs here, and if it doesn't I'm sorry. But I don't see anywhere better to put it.

To be curt, I got a new phone a while ago and I just installed PSO2es on it to buy some AC. I got the error 006 and now it's asking me for a 16-digit login code. I read on bumped.org's PSO2es guide that it's a code I need to periodically keep track of on PSO2es, which I had installed on my old phone.
However, I can't access the old phone or the code because I traded in that phone to get the new one.

What can I do? How fucked am I?

Addendum: I never even knew this code was a thing, so I have no previous records of it.

Yeah, if you didn't pull out/take note of the code from your old phone where PSO2es that's tied to your PSO2 account, you cannot link it back WITHOUT the 16 Digit code from your old phone.

No way to get it from the website or anything like that? I'm already beyond saving here?

Unfortunately you will need to get your old phone to get the code.
Contacting Sega won't help as they'll see your gaijin IP and refuse you service.

Thanks as usual, Sega.
Whatever. I'll use Arks-Layer, I guess. Thanks.

Yep, all of this is definitely SEGA's fault.

It's a goofy measure. I'm not pawning the blame, since it's my fault I didn't pay attention to a system whose existence I wasn't aware of.

But you have to admit. It's a dumb measure.

Not really, it's a common feature among mobage, and used widely.
It's your own fault for not using it.
You can try emailing Sega support, but there is a chance they will not help you.

But you just admitted it was your fault for not paying attention...

Well you admit your faults and I respect that. Sometimes it's just easier to blame something else than to learn from it.
