So I've been working on a while devising a system that would bring some consistency to a site everyone knows as Cirnopedia (http://pso2.cirnopedia.info/). Basically every time a weapon, unit or enemy name is referenced on the site, instead of being directly written in, the site will look at a database file and pull the name from that, so that the name will always be the same regardless of where it appears. This has a few extra, added benefits though.

The biggest one is being able to configure, on the end user side of things, how the name appears. Don't agree with Dark Falz Loser? Think that Meteor Cudgel should stick to Ryuuseikon? Too used to the SEA names of the game's units? Or maybe you just want the names to appear in a different language. With this, you will be able to change a setting on the site that will change how item and enemy names are displayed, so no one has to fight over how something should be translated, or we could even have translations into completely different languages.

So far, I only have plans for weapon, unit and enemy names, coming up with databases and names for every other item in the game would be quite a chore (and an undertaking, there's also 1100 weapons in the game!) but in the future, it might change. For now though, I'd like some help on building these alternate translations. As of right now, I only have the japanese and cirnopedia's current english translation down in the database. There's a lot of weapons in the game, as I've said, so I probably won't be taking random one item suggestions unless it fits into a current translation theme. It'd help me a lot if people could contribute full scale translations since each translation configuration will effect every single weapon name on the site. This link here (http://privatepaste.com/d177a926b1) contains the current database file for the weapons. If you do post, send, submit, or whatever a full translation, it'd make my life even easier if you had it in the same order as the database. I'll post the unit and enemy databases soon but for now, I'd like feedback and some volunteers. Cheers.

EDIT: Finished the unit database. (http://privatepaste.com/7a52beb1ec)
