Gunne Ginna-gam Trigger MPA (10/4/2014)

The original thread is over and done with, so I wanted to start a new thread on this...

I want to continue the Gunne Ginna-Gam Trigger runs as I am after those pieces of armor as well as many are.

The way these events work is that one earns 5,000 casino coins to buy a Gunne Ginna-Gam trigger. Each participant has a trigger prior to going into the event. 12 consecutive runs, and 12 boss fights later one should be happy with the drops. Hopefully the units and other goodies you are looking for drop. Three parties are made in Coordination to make it all work out. All parts of the boss will be broken prior to finishing the boss in order to have a chance at the units dropping.

I want to schedule for 2PM on Saturday, October 4th, 2014. All times are East Coast Time (GMT -5.) This should give players plenty of time to earn their triggers, as well as register. If enough players register I will try to organize multiple runs on Saturday..

The meeting place is on the B31 Casino where Mesetan Shooter is played to earn the coins.

The only requirement is to enter is to:

a) Have a trigger you will be using in the run.
b) Register in this thread in order to organize the list of names.

Edit: Requirement C....

Have your Rare Drop Boosters, Lucky Rise Timed Abilities, Triboosters, and anything you have to increase your rare drop rate (like Guts Drink EX) ready for the run. Without the Rare Boosters, You won't find a thing.

I want to finish my unit set and I find since the last Trigger MPA was great and nice, that I would continue them.

I haven't played PSO-2 for a long time. I will accept any comments, advice, and help towards making this happen. I am willing to help all week (except Friday Evening because I have classes then) in helping players earn their triggers for the run..

If enough people wish for a run as well on the 2nd, that would be ok...but only if people wish it. So far default is 4th. I am giving people time (including myself who isnt very good at mesetan shooter yet) to earn their 5000 coins to even buy the trigger.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Saiki set right? Just curious, do only Gunne Ginna-gams drop them? Cuz according to Cirnopedia Gigur also drop them... or is Cirno wrong again?

1) Last run were run by ship 2 people.
2) From gate, just run down from stairs, straight to mesetan shooter booth.
3) Helm, Horn (after helm broke), chest crystal, left and right shoes.

So I just realized that the time is listed as EST. I get off work at 2:30 PM EST, and can be home by 2:45 PM. From what I've seen last time I did one, the actually thing never starts promptly and takes almost the whole hour to start, so I may be able to make it before everyone is even ready, but I guess I don't want to hold back the group if others can do it earlier.
There were people during the last one that I participated in that kept delaying the group by going AFK, etc. when there were other standbys that could have taken their place. That was quite annoying for me to have to wait (people should be ready beforehand; and if you can't play before that time, be ready the night before, before logging off), so I wouldn't want to make others wait.

1. I just updated the run by adding Günther, airprinzh2o, UnLucky, Razerno, zeroshiki13, zgnumu and ア。ラ to the participants list.

2. I added strikehunter to the list of extras.

This morning I managed on my first run in Shironia to get a Rear Armor Piece drop. This completed my first set, making me very happy. Even though I obtained the piece, since I started this thread in high hopes of helping others (not just myself), I spent a lot of time acquiring the casino coins and finally have my rare trigger.

Nothing more shameful than the organizer not having a trigger....

I want to help out. I started this and I want to finish it. ^_^


Notes about the current week:

We are in Boost Week.
This means our EXP, RARE MONSTER encounter, and most of all...RARE DROP RATE is up and running. Ready to be stacked on everything else we dump on it..

However, the run will be worthless to all participants if you do not have the following list of items in addition to the rare trigger:

1. Triboost (100%s will be the best for this)
2. +250% Rare Drop Rate Boosters

Optional:
1. Lucky Rise Weapon
2. Drop Rate Timed Abilities on Armor.

All of this in addition to the rare drop rate already in effect will greatly help you....


This will be my first time hosting an MPA trigger event. Any help along the way will be most helpful. I realize I am not the best, nor the worse player out there. I am just a person who wishes to help out. Thank God that PSO-2 gives each player their own sets of drops, eliminating fighting for drops.

I just want all involved to be happy and have the highest chance at attaining these armors units ^_^

Does Guts Drink EX always come with Rare Drop Rate Boost? IIRC when I drink them they sometimes give me something else. I usually buy them from the console inside Camp Ship and not at the nurse counter, don't know if that makes any difference.

Not but it's the one that's most likely to give you it if you're not prem.

Guts drink actually gives you a chance for Untekked Drop Up, which is the same as having a level 3 potential Vraolet when you break crystals. Deband drink is the one that gives Rare Droprate Up. Neither are guaranteed though. It seems to be about a 10-20% chance to get either effect. I'm guessing premium drinks guarantee RDR up, but I've never had premium before so I can't say for certain.

You can sign me up as an extra, but since I've already got 2 sets I won't participate in place of anyone who needs the units more than I.

12 rare Gunnes also give a buttload of experience, so it's totally a great time to leech level up your uncapped classes if you need to do that. Last time I got around 700k experience with a 100% triboost and 75% experience booster, and that was without an experience boost event.

Deband and Random drinks can give RDR when not premium. Guts can't.

Every 7k drink gives RDR, but requires premium. Since that includes Shifta, most people just get that.

This was for ship 2, and sadly there's no special kind of block where fellow from other ship can play together.

As for spawner, lookup one with Gunne Ginna-Gam (グンネ・ギンナガム) name on it.

Notes on earning Casino Coins through Slots:

I got my coins through slots. The way I did it was that there are drink stations which give you boosts and Luck on a scale from one through five. Make sure you get Luck 4 or 5 before slots. Secondly look for slots that have rappy meters at three or four already. Each slot has an individual rappy meter. Finally, spend 1 coin always until you reach rappy meter 4, then go all-in with five coins.

Learn the timing and cues and you will do fine.
I couldn't find a mesetan shooter party and so I earned my coins through the boring old slots.

Please be reminded that we need to start our run ASAP on the appointed hour and dont drag it longer than expected since you guys will probably dont want to skip a pre-scheduled despair 2hrs from our start time. If it really is 3AM JST(2PM EDT) that hour slot is a pre-scheduled Intrusion.

You can join us, Titan. We still have room in ours, and it won't happen until 7PM PDT. Also, the EQ before it is Cradle of Darkness, so I would think most wouldn't mind missing it if we did happen to start late or take longer than expected.

Edit: I'm going to go ahead and put a soft cap on the current run. Some team members have changed their mind, so we might have less spots than before. However, if enough people show up or if some don't get what they need I will definitely consider another run on Sunday or even possibly another one tomorrow. The idea was that many people wished to be able to run today, but 12 people showed up and 11 triggers were run due to technical problems and the fact that Despair Mining Defense was right around the corner.

The runs started rough and became smoother throughout...

The roster concerned me because there were twenty entries on the roster. Some had two Triggers, but in all fairness the first 18 all had a trigger meaning at least six if all appeared would not get a run in.

...so in the interests of fairness I had asked and arranged that those who could not get in today, who could get in later to speak with Shady.

This way each person could use at least one trigger today and save the 2nd trigger for another run.
