The damage formula was never exact to me, but I was curious about multipliers.
So like Fury + Average stance, is it not 100%+60%+25%? Do they multiply like I was told as in 1.60*1.25= 200%? It seems a bit far fetched for me, so was wondering what everyone else knew about it. I know when Guard stance made you lose 5% damage, it did take off a LOT more than just a stacking -5%, but I don't seen myself hitting less than half damage with a lot of the stances nowadays.

Yes they multiply, and are not additive.

afaik the only thing that is additive are EXP/RDR boosters

like if you have

100% triboost, 75% exp boost, 250% RDR boost, 50% meseta boost during a 100% all boost week you have

100% + 100% + 75% = 275% exp
100% + 100% + 50% = 250% meseta
100% + 100% + 250% = 450% RDR

Dunno how the 1.4x exp from being in a party factors in, or a weapon with the 15% exp affix, or units with the timed RDR ability or similar.

Aren't critical modifiers additive too?

Those affixes are decent-ish to just carry all the time on certain weapons, sometimes, I...guess. If you don't want to use boosters for every little thing, or want that extra nudge to the cap.

Don't we have rank II and III versions of EXP Boost coming? It was mentioned that they'll go back and apply the update to pre-tekked weapons, so I'm guessing old tekked zanbas and axeons will randomly have EXP Boost II and III soon. 25% is better than 15%...ish.

I never got around to substantial crit testing (10k+ hits, preferably 100k+) but from what I saw it looked roughly like it did add. I also had a theory that it was multiplicatively reductive like Flash Guards used to be - that is, it tells you it's a bonus of +20% but in actuality it's a multiplier of .8x. This becomes significant with multiple skills, because 1.2*1.2=1.44 -> 66% damage taken, versus .8*.8=.64 -> 64% damage taken. It's a small difference there, but criticals can exceed 100% on paper. Also in video I think. Somebody put together a 100%+ critrate build. So maybe I don't have to test shit. Hooray.
