Is it still possible for overseas players to play easily?

First off, sorry if this thread has been made already. Lately I've been really wanting to play this game again, but I remember last time I tried to play a few months back I learned that a mass amount of overseas players, including me, were banned, and I was wondering if it's still possible to play without having to go through a whole bunch of hoops to get past the ban, if there's a thread about this please link me to it. Thanks in advance.

The site is up just use a trusted free vpn to access the site.

The majority of oversea player can still play fine, it's only some US/EU ISP that have their route that don't have access to the yahoo server that Sega is currently using.
TWC used to have a backbone that can reach it, but they switched backbone, so it lost connection.

Yeah, I can even connect raw from germany.
But my ping is shit and I have frequent lag >_>

I can connect fine from Germany and my ping is pretty awesome for what's it worth. Having a good PC helps.
