Alright, on my techer I mainly use it as a sub for my force, however I like to main it once in a while, whats a good skill build that can do good as a force sub, and also for a main? This is what I currently have on her. http://pso2-skill.pwnedgalaxy.net/skillcalc.php?08bnbsIkbsIkbsIkbsIkbsIkbsIkbsIkbsIk 0jdodBIb00000000jdoIn0000008doib0000006do000000lo0 0000007odAidjGAIoIgI2000009bIo000000fdoIb000000f

Any advice?

Playstyles of Techer and Force are very different. You can't have same Techer tree for maining and subbing. Force would need PP skills and elemental masteries, while Techer concentrates on Wand skills and support (and Force isn't even a good subclass for Techer).

Unfortunately, that thread has nothing to do with using Force anywhere, so that isn't helpful.

As isCasted said, Techer is completely different as a main class and as a subclass for Force. I'd suggest going one or the other. Do not compromise.

Go all the way with Elemental Weak Hit. As a caster you'll take any damage you can get is good. If you're going to stick to TE main i'd get the Shifta/Deband boost skills as well, Toughness/Strike

It also will depend on how you cast magics also. if you're going all magic (no specific element) you'll want some mastery in the multiple elements between the classes. Otherwise dump points into the elements you like.

I assume you will go all elements, I made a dummy tree.

It'll be shunned by the minmaxers i assume, but hear me out. You got 5/10 on all the elements. With some extra boost on support skills, resta and the like. Zondeels will cost you so little with both bolt save and support PP save. I put in Wand Gear if you want to use wands as cast weapons which works as you'll be limited on Rods you can use. Also with high T-Atk your explosions will do pretty large damage and be a quick PP restore. Though you'll be pretty squishy ...

Like Gama posted, i prefer the melee style Techer, but it doesnt work well with a FO subclass

I'm sure zandion will make FO + TE cool.

Fo + Te is fine.
Te + Fo is not.

You do miss out on the Element Conversion and the... Save Charge thing? The new skill from ep3. But otherwise you don't miss out on /too/ much... Feel a bit more supportive caster as a TE/fo.

(Though personally, i'd go TE/bo for that because of all the many supportive nonsense BO gives)

You're right! I'm shunning so hard right now!

Seriously though, if you're going to do this, you really want that first SP in the second mastery. It's worth 5% instead of just 1%. You can take a point out of the first masteries for Techer (to go from 9% to 13.4%), but you can't really do that for Force.

Also, uh, no Wand Lovers makes a pretty poor melee Techer.

If you really wanted to do both melee and cast techs, you'd do better as Te/Fi or Te/Br.

I wasn't too sure what to do with the wand gear point, That or the Mastery one? I just like the idea of smackin an asshole to explode into an element

Miss out on non-crafted/multi-class Rods too, which is a big hit to damage and speed. Force is also terrible for wand usage so the melee aspects of Techer (which is the main reason to play it) suffer horribly.

Basically the only thing you actually do well with that combination is support, when you can do support just as well with other class combinations and do plenty of other things better. Te/Fo is a waste.
