I get that you may have tried in the past which is the result to the answer you've given me, but I will actually give it a shot if you teach me. Remember Ultimate is right around the corner. If 5s is too much then maybe 4s?

I'm serious. I know you're someone who knows your stuff so why not lend a hand where it's needed? Skill and gear are too different things. Yes, I'm good at the game, but my gear doesn't say that. I finally have some money to participate in one of these boost week events and could really use some help/awareness. I just want to get it over with so I can go back to doing what I love doing in PSO2. That's the truth. :-(

Fuck, now I don't know if trying to add 5 affixes to all my crap or wait until the update.

@untrustful: Next month we'll be allowed to use up to 5 fodders when affixing. In the video it was shown a weapon getting like 6 abilities all with 90~100% success rate just for that (I'm not sure if they were using any booster). We will also be able to use fodder with higher number of affixes than the target weapon.

They used a 30% booster and it all passed, its my guess they just used 5~6 things with one ability on each to show it off... in addition their 90% ability 3 didnt fail >:|

I hope stacking the same ability 4 or 5 times bumps the % high enough, I'm thinking that it shouldn't be hard to get 5 things on my sword if I use a Soul Receptor and 4 fodders all with the same affixes, but we will see.

I just don't want to waste all my money trying next week, if after the update getting 6 affixes is going to be a cakewalk.

I wish the notice had come earlier. Just yesterday, I finally attempted to put Fang Soul on my 5-slotted Saiki Units (3 pieces), 2 were a success but the arm failed; you can forget about 5-slotted Mizer Fodders, waaaayy to expensive just for +1 pp. It also doesn't help when a single Fang Soul 5-slotted fodder unit is like 3-4 mill on Ship 7. I did manage to put Fang Soul on the arm unit (after getting it back up to 5-slots again), but damn, did it cost me an arm and a leg.

Had I known, I would've waited 'till next week; would've save me millions of meseta and over 100 excubes to get the arm piece back up to 5-slots.

4 slots is enough for me. Soul Receptors on 5 slots equipment onward is cost prohibitive. I don't even know if PSO2es will work on a LG G2.

I'm assuming that a lot of people wll fail the final affix of souls onto their target weapons/units; many of them will opt for the cheaper route (especially for units) by having only 2 souls in the affixing pool. This means a 90% sucess rate with a 30% booster (plus the 10% from boost week).

My Plans for this "Boost Week":

Since I already have a 5-slotted Gloam/White-Tail set for my melee classes, I will put the finishing touch on my Saiki Set for my range classes.

It will be 5-slotted with the typical affixes:

Fang/ShootIII/AbilityIII/SpiritaIII/Shoot-Boost.

I have already purchased all of the necessary fodders and 3 "Add special ability (R-atk)" items.

I also sold my 5-slotted "Infinite Corundum" Assault Rifle for 25 million and plan on 5-slotting my 50-Element "Bio Triner" Assault Rifle which I procured last week. It will have the typical affixes:

Mizer/ShootIII/AbilityIII/SpiritaIII/Shoot-Boost.
