I downloaded prepatch through PSO2 Launcher, when I opened PSO2 Tweaker, it asked me to install the prepatch and if i refuse it'll delete my prepatch data....since I had no choice and assumed its safe I installed it, launch the game and all i see is black screen....what gives? Huh really? Normally tweaker just ask if there's new predownload and prompt to download or ignore it, unless there's some mistake and tweaker think it's already time to install the patch.

If you already install it, then you're fucked up.
Maybe wait for next maintenance to play (if you don't want to redownload entire patch twice).

And, as always never forget backup PSO2 data because of it's fuckhuge size it might be pain in the ass to repair.

I hope so as well. Heck, I wouldn't PB-lite skill for gunners that lets them dual wield gunslashes as tmg's for a short while. Would be quite awesome seeing that some tmg pa's use s-atk iirc.
