Well I think it is time to contribute something to MFG I was not able to get any of the recent Voice files but I was able to get almost 68 different characters. The big number is from male and females combined if any of you have any of the recent voice files then send them to me and I can rip them for you. As of now I only have 34 male characters and 34 female characters voice rips. Enjoy these combat sounds should be good for making some basic characters.

They really need to do revivals on voice tickets sometime.

All of the voices I actually want were from before I even started playing, and are nowhere to be found in shops.

I'm really having troubles to locate the last voice files.

I sorted the ice containers by date and started to extract last modified ones up to the 8th November. Unpacking all the files with a size > 10kb (assuming the voice data have to be larger than that, right?)

All I could find were the usual new costumes files and voice files with that kind of header:

11_sound_voice_un_xxxxxxxx
or
11_sound_voice_st_xxxxxxxx

So that makes me wonder ... did I miss some files? Could the voice be packed in files smaller than 10kb?

Could the voice files be in one of the huge (100~600Mb) crid/cpk containers? Even though my file manager says those haven't been modified for months?

Generally the sounds are found in files 230KB and lower the lowest I have seen was around 76KB and the higest was 200KB. But all were found in ICE files.

And they will look like this when extracted. Most of those files are found by themselves so they won't come with other things only a 11_sound_voice_man.acb
Or any other generally it is a gender and a number.

You're welcome and I glad I could help you find what you were looking for.

CRID are all video, and the CPK are all BGM. Are you only looking for 11_sound_voice_x? Pretty sure I've seen voice files with other names, though I don't have everything on hand to check. Just filter out .acb and skim through the names.

The voices for the characters are found in files but they are spread out. You can rip the other ACB's but they may not contain what you want.
