I must admit that 10*/11* unit crafting is something i havent touched on. I have seen in another thread that somehow, crafting 11* units can give you PP or Hp bonus? Is this automatic or is there something i have to add at crafting stage? Thanks

HP, PP and "elemental resistance" type-unit recipe got added since last patch, there should be new recipe that allow your unit have more HP/PP value on it.

I wanna add a question since this is confusing me as well.

Crafting still removes it's original parameters right? Like if I crafted my white tail, I lose my 10 PP bonus?

If yes then what's the point of crafting aside from extra def?

You didn't deduce that you'll replace that stat with something else yet?

Extra def is the main thing, but because it doesn't remove the set bonus, it lets you create stronger units with a set bonus you like. Also, with the new recipes in place, you could easily put that +10PP bonus on every unit you craft. (Or +100 HP, or 30HP/3PP/4% all resist)

wait really.

so does that mean people will not lose the set bonus if they craft units with set bonus

also would it be wise to craft a saiki set.

set bonus remains, it's extra built in unit stats you lose.

It's always been that way. When you craft a unit, you remove its defense, resistances and HP/PP bonuses, but the set effect stays.

You replace the defense and HP/PP bonuses though, depending on the type of craft (defenses are same for all):

S-Def Recipe: 30HP / 1PP
R-Def Recipe: 20HP / 2PP
T-Def Recipe: 10HP / 3PP
HP Recipe (S-Def Req): 100HP
PP Recipe (R-Def Req): 10PP
Resist Recipe (T-Def Req): 30HP / 3PP / +4% to all elemental resistances.

Crafting a Saiki Set is up to you. You will lose its large defensive resistances, but you can make use of its massive PP bonus if you want to have a very large PP pool.

Actually, if you manage to craft to Extend 10, it might even be stronger than Saiki base stats-wise (I think Saiki beats EX10 in t-def? I forgot). If you use Bouncer and picked craft mastery, it's definitely stronger (gotta love that +10%).
The specialised recipes are strong too (that +100HP... if you ever thought your HP was low).

But you'll lose the strike/range resistance. This is the big tradeoff

thanks everyone I Think I stay with the saki status because It looks pretty goods.

I definitely need the defense and my attacks are pretty high.

It is ultimate mode that gets my character crush.

seriously 400 damages and I can only carry 10 trimates with me.

Is that with deband...?

Did you grind them...?

I don't even get hit that hard in ult with uncrafted XQ units (i'll get around to it eventually).

no deband.

Yes I grind them.

But I do not have them affixed.

when I said 400 damages I meant for bosses and mobs all attacking.

sorry for the confusion.

how much is lost? like % wise.

2% (XQ Units) - 4% (*11 units) each piece (some units got 2 or 3 damage type resistance, so it'll lose more), I think. Some unit lost 5% (Ing Plate set have 5% resistance, I think)

is there like a video comparing damage taken with crafted units and non-crafted units?

You could just take a wild guess.
Since higher rarity unit has bigger resistance value, you'll end up receiving more damage from enemies by using crafted units.

Even crafted unit has more DEF stat, it still lack resistance percentage.

^ That's not always the case for every higher rarity. And it completely is based on your Skill Tree Build, Enemy Damage Range and Focus; if % is better then Raw. Psychical Resistance is the only thing that Unit Crafting is missing at the moment, But that could change.

I have tested the 7* saiki crafted lv1 vs non. Seemed non crafted fared better

Some skills might reduce/increase damage taken but that's not the point of discussion, we're talking about the units resistance/def value.

^adios, Elemental Resistance's are the 6 fire, ice, wind, light, electric, dark. The Psychical Resistance's are the basic 3 blow, shot, mind or melee, range, tech the JP Swiki calls them that. I don't know why you would have a problem with that?

@wefwq - No, Problem
