and seeing how blk 20 is empty most of the time (aside Sched EQ's at night where gets 3/4's filled seeing as this is the norm, blk), does this mean all these blk 20 scrubby players are actually going to get good or just continue the same path their on now and just be bad at anything that isn't just kill mobs for 30mins. seriously curious if we'll see any improvement at all from them or just expect to keep the same mind set that there are only a handful of good players playing and not just sitting around circle jerking in the lobby all day spamming SA's and what not

It's amusing to see times where everything's jam-packed and 20 is barely pushing 50% capacity, or the fact that premium space is almost never ever used in B20.

There's no saving the block itself. JP and foreign players avoid it out of habit for years, and that will not change at this rate. There's no fixing that unless sega does some silliness like larger exp buffs on emptier blocks or something.

I will say a few things though. I think there's generally less chance of running into bad players on XH because everyone's level 70 or above. Shame XH is boring as shit.
Some people may have gotten stronger because recent changes made it easier to become stronger.
I've noticed that the people who die repeatedly (literally draining everyone's moons) all seem to be EN players, though.

A big part of the problem is probably that PSO2 is a game where everything's so damn vague that you really have to do research to know how it all works.
I'd imagine most people don't know what the most effective setup is or how to obtain it.

AFAIK, even if you just browse around these sites, there's no guide on the basics of having a good setup.
You have to dig through 200 page threads or ask people at the risk of getting abused for no reason.

I actually saw Ship 2 busy at the release of Ultimate. Every ship was busy and one was even completely full.

That was the first time I've seen that since beta.

I dnt think that the madness happening in block 20 is as much of an issue as you guys think. It might be filled with people who play for fun, and not to actually accomplish anything, but everyone has their own style. It was the 1st block I was in before changing to Ship 1 server, but yeah...it was nice while it lasted. I didn't mind the crazies, heck I was one of them :$

I still have nightmares remembering Universe 1 spam on 360, I've never been present in B-20 if it ever reached the same level, but being in crowded blocks with barely any "noise" from chat felt good, specially knowing that some JP users dislike it.

People keep saying Japanese players hate English speaking players, but it's really more accurate to say good players (most of which are Japanese) hate bad players (most of which are English speakers). PSO-W's community itself is quite evident of this. Making the Japanese players as a whole out to be xenophobic of English speakers is disgustingly ignorant and narrow-minded. Yes, some are, but it's just as true that many English speakers do a horrible job of representing the culture that they come from and encourage that behavior.

Most players in general hate B-020, not just Japanese. And not all Japanese players think all English speakers are the same as B-020 players.
