The tech support forum is dead, so I'm also turning to the general forum.

I've had two issues with my graphics today. First, in the Seabed field, the textures and lighting on the floor appear quite off. You can notice it best at the lower-left corner of this screencap.

Second, during the "Subdue Fang Banther" EQ, the surface of the river in Area 1 appeared too high.

Is anyone else having these issues? And more importantly, how can I fix them?

Have you tried a file check?

Have you tried a file check?

I did when I ran into the issue on the Seabed. Didn't help. 3':

Just tried updating my GFX driver. Didn't solve the issue.

What do you mean by "DX library for PSO2"?

Hi Dan.

Have you tried playing other games to see if your problem only exists in PSO-2? Also, try going into the menus and setting your sliders to default.

Just to run standards.

When I get graphical errors in any game, the very first thing I do is run it in performance-default settings to make sure its the game and not my card.

forgot pso2 dosent come with one... like several games install their direct x libraries , pso2 does it too, but i think that wouldnt be the issue.

check if your card is ok.

I reset my graphic settings to default from the vanilla launcher. For the Seabed floor, the floor was not weird looking. Of course, these settings won't be practical in the long-term, since my laptop is a cheapo-depot model that's about as old as PSO2 itself and, even when set to my usual low-end settings, it can start chugging when things get hairy (especially in the Darker Den EQ).

I've run a control experiment based on Keilyn's advice. The problems only seem to be present when running the game on my usual low-end settings as opposed to default.

This image is from playing on the default settings. The river in "Dagan Suppression: Forest" area 2 only goes up to my legs, as it should.

This image is from my usual settings from the same mission. As you can see, the surface of the river goes over my head.
