Isn't 24 FPS good enough?

Wouldn't look good with the lens flares. Its all about the lens flares.

Nah. All they need is good gameplay, likeable/relatable character(s), good game design, good/decent soundtrack. graphics are dead last on my list.
I forgot to add Responsive controls. I hate it when a controls are slippery or sluggish that it makes certain parts in the game tougher than they should be.

Agreed Noble.

Kids these days are spoiled brats who think that games are only good if they look hyperphotorealistic. Doesn't count for jackshit that they are all the same copies of "call of warfield: Battleduty craft" with giant burly musclemen whose throbbing, cholesterol hardened veins are rendered not with bump mapping but with a freaking polycount of their own on the surface of the model and the blood from their kills to pump out in such a realistic manner that one worries that the creators stabbed living people as a reference for the bleeding effect details

More depth in the field than in the character.

Nope. I will never forgive film grain existing just because of this.

Basically no fuck off

Only reason I use it is because it softens the visuals up just a little on my screen, which it shouldn't, its not there for that I don;t think? my card is a little wonky though...

my eyes are bad, so HD level graphics actually hurt them. SOmetimes I will just turn the resolution down really low then maximize the window so its blurry enough that the supersharp visuals don't make my eyes bleed.

Not joking. Went to an occular specialist and she referred me to five others, none of the six of them could figure out why my eyes are WORSE for sharp details than when its blurry as hell.
I tried glasses, I tried contacts, nothing helps.

I mean... I LIKE that games can look really pretty these days but... when it blinds me, I don't appreciate it personally very much lol.

I blame game developers for issues like that, granted they want to try to make the game look "great" but if it hurts the players eyes it is annoying.

I prefer to play pong instead of the games that are out now. Nothing seldomly interest me anymore except games like Okami, Vietiful Joe or Shadow of the Colossus.

Can I get a film grain mod for pso2? I also want a cinematic mod to lock it to 24fps and a 16:5 ratio for lulz. (I am being sarcastic.)

Film grain can look good in certain games, but you add it to something like Mario... Dear god what is it doing there?

Film grain is made by companies who think gaming is the next hollywood. They are all bell ends.

Agreed. Is it M-rated games that only use it or have games for Teenagers used it as well?

Try "Balls Out Awesome™" hyper-realistic ENB. So next-gen post-process effects, you'll be lucky to get over 15fps.

Not really no. I just have really crappy eyes heh.

Anyway, played aroun with that ENB out of curiosity. Managed to turn TES4: Oblivion from a smooth running experience into a 2FPS Slideshow with it, and now I can't even fix it, lolol.

what's ENB? Not good with computer jargon.
