When you finish the Nightmare #3 (the mines) quest online has anyone else noticed the computer at the end? After you kill everything in the room of death, there is a storage room with a transport in it. Near the crates in the back left corner. If you walk near the computer display, you get a message about how the computer isn't working (or something like that).
Anyone have a clue what this is about? A glitch in the system perhaps? Something meant for another quest and accidentally left in?
Yes, it is not a glitch, it is from a mission. It is from one of the missions in the mines. I think it was the one called Dr. Ostos Research where you had to retrieve some information from the very same computer. Hope this explains the little problem you have.
P.S. Wasn't this level pretty freekin hard!!! about 20 sinow beats in one room!!!

I just noticed this last night! The same message appears somewhere in the Caves one, if I'm not mistaken. Speaking of the ENDLESS NIGHTMARES (which do, in fact, end), I LOVE the perspective change in the last room of each. It's lower and closer to your character, which make it much more exciting (not to mention gives you a much better view of yourself, especially if you're a midget like me). It would be great if there were a way to select from different views (a la every racing game ever)... maybe in PSO 2!

Yeah, I love that last room, though I remember the first time I went in there. I was kinda impatient and ran ahead to the two warps, and I appeared in the room with the lights out thinking, "uh oh". After a little fighting, two of those big robots that shoot missiles spawn, and there are still eight of those normal robots coming at me. My teammates have failed to figure out where I am yet. I'm just running for my life in circles asking what's taking them?! Hehe =)
*thinking: hmm, maybe I should go back on topic... =P*
Yeah, I've seen that computer too.

Really? I can't stand the perspective change. It's very cool and dramatic and all, but it significantly cuts down on your view of the room, making it harder to see what's around you.
Of course, one could argue that that's the whole point of it being that way. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
Speaking of viewpoints, anybody think it'd be cool to have an actual 1st-person perspective during the game? I wouldn't suspect it'd be unheard of to have codes to change views like that...
