View Full Version : PSO2 - First time running with PSOTweaker

Hi all,

I can't seem to get PSO2 working. I've installed PSO2 and ran PSOTweaker many times until all files are updated and there are none missing etc... I've then installed the PSO2 Tweaker proxy settings but whenever I try to run PSO2 I get a blank screen. It stays at the blank screen until I press CTRL+ALT+DEL, at which point the following error message pops up.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get it up and running? Additional info below - thanks in advance!

So if I launch via PSO Tweaker I get this error:
http://i59.tinypic.com/2s5yx44.jpg
他のアプリケーションの影響によ強制終了しました。I believe this message referrs to updating graphics drivers? My drivers are current, verified via Windows Update and the manufacturers website.

If I launch directly from the PSO2 exe I get this error:

iirc "他のアプリケーションの影響によ強制終了しました" had something to do with the Intel Graphic drivers, not the GPU drivers. You could try to download and install them manually.

Edit: some users had a similar problem and fixed it by creating an exception in their Anti-virus blocking rules.

I still get the error message with the anti-virus turned off. :-(

You need a proxy or a vpn to log in.

Oh my goodness. Thank you for posting this thread. These are the exact problems I'm receiving as well.

You need a proxy or a vpn to log in.

I'm using the proxy you setup via PSO Tweaker. How can I verify if its working from outside the game.

Lower all options to their lowest point and see if that works.

I can't get into the game to lower the options. It also won't let me lower the options via PSO Tweaker because the INI file doesn't exist. I believe the INI is created once the game is successfully run for the first time. That's an idea... can anyone set the game to minimum settings and save the INI file for me? Also, let me know where to save the INI file.

Thanks.

What if you create a PSO2JP.ini and then try to change the settings? Might want to try that out.

Exactly Edson. As I said above, if someone can set their settings to minimum, save the file, then upload it for me - I'll give it a go. I just need the file and the path to save it to.
