Let it be alone an item you found, a patch that you were waiting for, a new team you found, whatever! Let's hear what your favorite part in PSO2 is for this year, or post a picture if it can describe it!

Mine is probably Episode 3 patch.
...I have a feeling this is going to be a lot of people's answer.
Let's be more precise, my favorite part of Episode 3 patch was the Hunter Buffs.

Mine was Mining Base : Despair, even if we failed alot the first times we did it, it was still an amazing, an epic EQ.

And of course the EP3 patch, which brought the Bouncer class, which is now my favorite class (still have to level fighter to be perfect) with Jetboots.

Mining Base: Despair was a big deal for me as well. At the moment, it's the only thing in the game that's really keeping my interest.

For me, meeting new people in the game was the highlight for me. I'm made alot of friends these past few months and it's what's definitely keeping the game fresh for me.

I rather love alot of the new areas and the TD runs despite TD2 being awful for loot.

Sega, bring us TD4, even we still fail sometimes in TD3. :c

The whole rebalancing of the classes, almost a new game, especially for Ranger and Force, Hunter and Fighter to a lesser degree. The mechs were a great addiction too, I'm still waiting on more opportunities to use them though.

Th DDoS attack...

I'm kidding. It was probably all of the changes that came with the Ep.3 update.

When Braver didn't suck. :(

Braver always sucked.

~ Coming from someone who has only played PSO2 with the Braver class way before the nerf up until now.

Using one PA because it was 2OP is retarded, you should choose a class based on your preference not what's "easier" or "overpowered".

For me, it's a tie between the Episode 3 additions-n-changes and Magastu EQ.

Episode 3 made the game fun again.

Magastu EQ is interesting and who doesn't have fun doing those mega jumps as a tiny cast?

As usual, I think ....... upgrading my Gu's equipment, testing Gu after re-balance, and enjoying my runs as Gu until now ......

As far as Quest goes, TD3, I think.

Pretty fond of Bouncer, mostly twin blades unfortunately. It's a great mix of things I really enjoy and was interesting enough for me to stick around and level it for a little.

I played more than year than I anticipated. I think the time away really helped!

The mecha combat of course was a definite highlight. Almost makes you wish that alone was the core game. I'd love, love to customize and rock out with those. I guess I could give AC:Verdict Day more of a chance, but it's on a console that alone makes me go "Meh."

Episode 2 when Dewman got added. Episode 3 disappointed me because there's no Beast to use.

Katana needs new PAs I'm tired of the ones that it have.

I made a lot of new friends, caught up with a lot of old ones, got scouted into a new team full of cool people and grew a lot as a player.

Also TD3, and Magatsu's a lot of fun. Facility is a cool area too, I usually don't care all that much about BGMs but Facility's is really nice when there's no enemies around.

really would like to say that it is all the friends and people that has help on the game.

I like the early year fashion and items.
and many of the new EQs

but ultimate quest was the worst grinding and 13 star place.

When Hunter was re-balanced.

Hunter main life is so much better than it was before.

Starting a Force on Ship 10 and getting a new main in the process.

Falz Loser, even when everyone was getting bodied by him and his Apple Doritos vendors because no one knew how to fight them yet.

TD3, which was absolutely nuts before the run speed buff... and before people learned how to do it.

Few things for me:

1.) The HU and RA tree re-balance. I can finally use stun grenades for PP and a new vacuum grenade as well and for HU now I can pick anything I want with ease now.

2.) This:

Honestly, my favorite part of PSO2 this year was getting closer with the team I'm on and with friends.
I usually tend to be an antisocial prick, but I realized I was on a team with such important people that I hope I can be friends with for the long-term.

But content-wise, casino. :-)
Hopes for 2015: add more mini games to the casino SEGA gib blackjack plz

When I learned what Just Attacks were after I was already level 70/70. My damage increased by about 300%. The English patch doesnt translate the most important things, those beginner help tips the game gives you.

Also, going to Japan, learning Japanese enough so that when I came back to the US, I ditched my gaijin English speaking team to join a JP one. They only come online after its already midnight here, but still.

Oh and also XH mode. For the first time I was getting weapon drops that were actually useful.

Playing the game with someone who was extremely special to me. Too bad we don't play anymore. Played for near 8-9 months together. That time was the most special to me. Since that person and I quit playing together, I've had no drive to even really come back to the game. I hope that's changes soon. I do kind of miss it, but it's hard going back to solo after that. Made the game immensely fun, now it's empty to me.

I want to come back, but lack of that special something, you know?

Haha, it's always been boring to me. It was about the memories I created with others. Cause you know... Sega lacks content of any kind. xD

Episode 2 Chapter 5, fighting Dark Falz Luther for the first time, and Mine Base Defense Despair are the highlights of the year for me.

As dumb (and masochistic) as it may sound, I think re-leveling my new account after the DDoS may have been the most fun I've had on this game in a long time. My main got 816'd in the wake of the attacks but for some reason, I actually didn't mind it so much. Part of me actually got really excited to level again and it made things quite a bit more fun. Now I've gotten just about everything I wanted from my old account back and then some :D

TD3 and the Ep3 Quality of Life Changes/Rebalances were nice too though. Full Fury tree with Never Give Up and Iron Will is pretty fantastic

You wish. They didn't nerf overpowered stuff necessarily, only nerfed overused stuff, there is a difference. Lots of overpowered stuff actually got a buff and the overpowered classes got even more overpowered (Ranger and Force...).

The actual metagame never centralized on Ilmegid, Ilbarta, Shunka, S-Roll, etc. at all. They were just tools that could get a job done easily, but not necessarily in the best way possible, as there were more overpowered things for that. All Episode 3 did was make everything overpowered except BR and GU, since they were extremely overplayed.

---

To answer the question, I dunno. I guess the Episode 3 Force buff. It's really fun to play now and I hope it never gets the nerf stick, even if it is overpowered by a very large margin in almost everything it does.

Episode 3's Skill Tree reworking was the best thing for me. I can't even imagine going back to the old tree setup. I feel sorry for those SEA players that have to still deal with the old trees.
