Connecting to PSO2 on Vita

Hi all. I've bought PSO2 on Vita and I've signed up for my SEGA account. How do I get around the IP ban on my Vita?

I play on a variety of WiFi networks, so if possible I'd like to make the changes in my Vita settings rather than via the router.

Can't, changes have to be done to network as Vita will not allow VPNs

Not sure if the psvita can route all traffic through a proxy, but you can try. Just setup something like squid on aws and add the instance into your psvita under proxy settings, it is under under advance settings.
