Haha, awesome! I actually didn't have HBAO+ on in any of my videos—any styling was either from the game or a little bit of postprocessing (and just highest settings on the tweaker). My resolution is 3440x1440.

I didn't notice it initially but looking more closely there seems to be just a little bit of it (particularly with lighter colors like Marlu's). I haven't ran into anything that's in-your-face distracting though.

Have you tried Lavendy's 0x000C0030 bit instead of 0x00000034?

I recall having tried to some some AO setting from Lavendy before, but I'm not sure having tried that specific one. Still I went and gave it a try, and it seems to work without that issue of the triangle lines in the hair.

The changes are subtle, but they are there. You can especially see around the head how the shadows changed a bit.
Also it doesn't seem to me that there's much difference between Quality and High Quality, which leaves me to think that you can just set it to Quality and it'll be enough to avoid too much fps loss from using AO.

While this is happening, the GuBr or BrGu (not sure) should use Rapid Shoot and fire 3 Chase Arrows. Spam normal attack too to get the Rapid Shoot arrows ready.

2. Place chain on the head above the main head. RA will also WB here. Party helps build the chain, then the main person uses Banish followed by Piercing x3.

And it's done.

Unfortunately it's getting nerfed, which is a shame.

Though it's in SH, it's really impressive how fast they go with only 4ppl (29 sec, i mean.....), they certainly get 10 runs on SH with that if not more. Well by the time it'll be nerfed they will 50 elem all the 12* they can get from him ^^;

Have you tried Radeon Pro with the sweetfx? I was using the Nvidia inspector for a while but got frustrated after I couldn't find a setting that really brought out the graphics without causing a significant drop in my framerate. The sweetfx seems to retain my FPS while upgrading the grapics a bit. I can now play at about 50-60 FPS even during the EQs and just experience lag in highly populated areas. Plus there's a whole bunch of cool effects you can add to the game. Here's a guide if you want to try it out. It's really simple to do and you don't need a super high-end computer to use them or a Radeon Graphics card (I have an Nvidia Geforce 610M):

The main thing I don't like is that with SweetFX, you need to use an alternate command to take screenshots of the game with the effects on, as using PrintScreen will only take a picture without SweetFX since SweetFX is an overlay effect added to the game instead of something directly integrated to it like with Inspector. This also means that you can't remove the UI when you take screenshots.

I run a GeForce GTX 970 now so I don't get that much of a fps loss with the AO on while still running the game at 4xSGSSAA.

Setup was FoTe, FoTe, FiBr, TeBr (going to switch out the FiBr for FoBr in a future run).

Some stuff:

Ilzonde Ground Cancel: Use an aerial Ilzonde into the ground and all recovery frames are removed.
Ilzonde Boots Cancel: Using Jet Boots, use ilzonde while in the air (do not use your double jump), switch weapon and hold jump, and the double jump will cancel the Ilzonde and switch your weapon
Switch Cancel: Hold jump before hitting a switch, and release when doing the switch animation to remove it. You must have performed the jump beforehand, though, or had it cancelled through a weapon switch.

Basically my thought I went with was how Quna's concerts were basically to promote and support ARKS, so my idea was basically a young ARKS recruit that is hurrying to get to the concert, probably looking behind at someone else coming along.
Though I fear I probably botched the explanation when I submitted it. :(

Is it just me, or are the maps in each quest not truly random in how they're generated?

I swear I've seen the same UQ map layouts multiple times over the course of several days. Certain smaller aspects of them like box and tree placement are different, but the main map itself seems identical.

You can see their accurate collision boxes with shaders on before the matter bombs go off. After they go off, they only appear slightly larger than they actually are.

You can save a My Set without a subclass before you pick one. Then you simply pick that set and your sub will be removed. I kept one on my alt for giggles.

You can step to cancel the very ending of the LN animation (not all of it but about half of it I'd say). Don't worry you aren't the only one I've seen die to Vol death animation! coughasumicough

That was in PSU. 100% synth boards were still actually 99.99%, and SEGA never bothered fixing it, or even telling anyone; players had to figure it out by themselves. A friend of mine failed more than one 100% boards.

It was funny!

But, that's where the rumors of 100% failing in PSO2 came from. However, it's actually fixed in this game.

I figured out that if I convert the clip I want to a GIF before uploading to gfycat, I can give pretty high quality gifs that can also be used to share frame data!

Currently re-recording stuff, but here's some recordings using lasers to measure dodge frames. The moment I start the step/dodge animations, the laser starts going through instead of getting interrupted by my character. Then, when iframes run out, the laser starts landing again, and the next time the laser ticks I get hit.

This doesn't work so well with measuring block frames, like Twin Dagger (http://gfycat.com/AdvancedCrazyIchthyosaurs) frames, unfortunately. Since block frames don't render the character intangible, pure block frames can't easily be measured with this (though the Dagger twirl seems to stop block frames as late as like 20-21ish frames into the animation, barring block lag).

Also, I took a brief look at the contents of the PSO2 Uploader, and I wonder whether or not I should be amazed(unlikely), or disappointed, or disturbed by some of the content there.
And if I understand, that site is basically the main picture uploading for japanese PSO2 players or does both english and japanese equally use it?

Anyway, wanted to get some pictures before maintenance, and I also used some new eyes. But I didn't have much ideas on what to do for pictures, so ended up with some obvious appealing stuff instead with swimsuit and gym outfit. >_>

But at least, gotta love how these eyes glow in darker lighting, and as always, gotta love that sexy Ambient Occlusion ;P

Normally I dislike short hair on women (I think most people do). Your character (sorry forgot her name, starts with "M") pulls it off beautifully, and I really don't say let alone think that very much.

Your blade throw at the start of the video was a non-JA and 617, and every blade throw in your juggle was also in the 600s range. If was a JA, it would have been at least 800 due to the 1.3x JA bonus without any skills.

Same with Heavenly Kite. First Heavenly Kite was non-JA 920ish at max Gear. Subsequent Kites were also 920+, which means they were also non-JA.

Try delaying a bit and you should see higher numbers :)

im 99% sure they are various quartz soul related affixes, mostly 4 slot units and 5 slot weapons from the looks of it with a couple of 6 slot weapons thrown in. I used to do the same before it became nearly worthless unless you get really lucky
